I have had good success with my eyeglass purchases. I do suggest that you don't get the absolute cheapest frames because they are cheap... but the $20 frames are as nice as the $200 frames at a typical optometrist.

Zenni is awesome, Ive already ordered several pairs in the past year. It's unbelievable inexpensive, you can literally get a pair of prescription glasses with your choice of design for $26, you also have the choice of Polycarbonate or High Index for a little more but the 1.57 index is included for free. Shipping takes about 3 weeks (California). The only con is that some frame's are flimsy however the lens is outstanding,, and best of all cheap prescription sunglasses's and in so many styles!!

AWESOME! $30 and the thinnest lightest lenses! They look even better than the ones I usually buy from lense crafters!

It usually costs me around $250 for a pair..

(100$ for not so great frames, and the rest goes to my lenses cause my left eye has a very high grade and they need to be thinned out)

If you wear glasses there's no reason to buy elsewhere I'm ordering some back up glasses! I can't believe how cheap these are and great quality- :)

I have a $1,500 pair of glasses. They have high end designer frames and high end progressive lenses. I've been getting single vision sunglasses because I generally don't need near vision when I have sunglasses on. Except I can't read my phone! I ordered a pair of progressive sunglasses from Zenni. $40! They really aren't nearly as good frames or lenses as my expensive set but I can see distance, I can read my phone, they shade my eyes. The fact that they work at all for is amazing!

After doing some research on Zenni and checking out yours and a few other video reviews, I gave Zenni a try. Ordered two pair on Aug. 15th and received them on Aug. 27th. Not bad coming all the way from China. Two pair for right at $70.00 and the quality seems just as good as my last store bought glasses which were a little under $300.00 for one pair. Zenni is awesome and I will continue to use them for all of my eyeglass needs in the future.

Excellent glasses. I bought 5 pair, different colors, different styles. I like aviator style sunglasses - got two pair of those. My old ones were over $400. All five pair were right around $100 and some change. 4 of the 5 were titanium frames. I've tied those almost in knots & they spring right back. Lose a pair, no big deal. If you have kids and they constantly forget their glasses, or lose them, or break them in sports. You need to check out Zenni's website. I'm hooked!

I ordered from Zenni after watching this sometime ago. They arrived in Australia in 14 days, great frames, better than expected. Cheap as! My glasses purchased downunder cost $700 for one pair (Yes we get ripped off down here. Imagine how happy i was when I got 2 pairs (one pair bifocals and one pair Aviation style tinted distance vision Total from Zenni was about $45.00!!

Zenni is awesome. I wear progressives, trifocals(and had some almost $900 rimless frames from one of those snazzy stores!Never again (they broke less than a year later!

Zenni did really well with my prescription-a pair I ordered 4 more pairs-so Id always have a spare,and have one in the car, etc, and THEY ROCk. I order from them 4 pair of glasses and loved them, than after a year i order 2 pairs, and they were horrible, the screws were loose and the "arm" was off and they were missing the nose holder, we took them to local optical store and they fix them, but after few days the glass just bork apart, we contact them and they rfuse to fix or replace becasue its over one month. They fit well. They are a preset size. If you read the descriptions it gives you the measurements of the frame. Plus I picked frames that were similar to glasses that I had in the past. I'm going back to buy three pairs of sunglasses for the summer.

When I tell them that I got them from that website for a total of about $26, (with shipping), no one wants to believe me. Yes, I found this company a few years ago. It always did seem ridiculous to be charged tens if not hundreds of dollars for eyeglass frames. My first pair I ordered from Zenni was about $13 and change. I still wear them every day. They are great.

My frame quality was very poor. They were not the frames that I picked and it was missing a nose pad. The clip on sunglasses that I purchased was so cheap that they broke when I first clip them on. I called zennioptical today to see what I needed to do to send them back and was told I would have to pay the shipping and would only get a 50% refund/credit that I could only use in the purchase of a new pair glasses from them.

It's amazing. They're perfect, they are better than I expected. I really didn't expect them to fit, or to have fully functional vision.

I ordered a pair of rimless glasses from zenni about two years ago. I've worn them on and off for the past two years and I haven't had a problems. You should expect the same quality as a $300 from the mall, but for the money it was a great deal. Shipping did take almost 3 weeks, but you really can't complain too much about a $26 pair of glasses that have lasted over two years.

I have ordered 5 or 6 pairs og glasses from Zenni. Out of those, I did not like one pair. So I have about 5 pairs of glasses for less than $100. Compare that to one pair for $300.

They do have different levels. If you want to go fancy, you can try their titanium frames. But I have a few of their $9.95 ones and they are perfect. My favorite ones are the the frames that have spring hinges.

I ordered a pair of their $8 half-rim glasses + $4.95 for AR coating + $4.95 shipping = $17.90 total. Ordered on 2/28, got them exactly 2 weeks later on 3/13. Sure, they're not designer brand quality, but he prescription is spot on, and they look good, are lightweight, and fit well. For the price of AR coatings alone at the local VisionWorks, I can buy 3 whole pairs of glasses with AR coatings from Zenni. I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again.

@Balatron: Zenni has high index lenses; naturally they charge more for high index. Be warned that if you have a strong prescription they do charge extra; it doesn't say anywhere on the website but when you go to order strong lenses it adds an extra charge. No doubt they will still be a ton cheaper than most places. If you have a really difficult prescription they may not be able to accommodate you. If Lenscrafter can make your lenses than Zenni probably can though.
