I really wish my school did that. Many of the parts cast in our shows are based on looks. Our teachers choose parts based on looks and who their favorites are.

no she's supposed to be Puerto Rican not from the country of Spain. I did the show with a blue eyed white girl who kicked ass in the role.seriously as good as the b/way bootleg or the movie. color blind casting can give a great role to a white actress too. I'm actually doing a show right now called songs we'll never sing with a white guy singing this song. this hopefully is a revue and in a revue anyone can sing anything. let the girl sing a good song. judge the performance not her lineage

Hi, I liked your effort, but I dont think you sound bitter enough about the other kids in the class when they called you 'nothing' and also about Mr Karp in that section.
