I just like the original SSX the best. I liked the realism of not being able to strip off your board mid jump and perform some ludicrous trick. But I like all of them. My top three favorite things about SSX:

1. Finished Symphony - Hybrid (favorite song since I first heard it on Untracked)

2. Mac Fraser (best character)

I do not understand the hate for On Tour. at all. Do people REALLY hate Doodles or something, and need to find an excuse to call it a bad game because of it? It was my favorite SSX game out of all of them. It gave me the most crazy wild ass experience of all the games, which is the entire point of video games. Do crazy wild ass shit that could never happen in real life... None of the other games gave me quite the rush or exciting feeling that On Tour could bring.

Dude, from the comments I read on some SSX videos, SSX On Tour was a massive failure. Haven't tried it yet, so can't say for sure. What I can say for sure, however, is that the opening sequence is abysmal. =(

Unlike most franchises

SSX went downhill

SSX, Tricky and 3 were absolutely amazing and SSX3 blew us all away with the free roam career and character customization not to mention the unlockables graphics and ubertrick setup. On tour kind of blew it for me I was really upset with it and then Blur disgraced the SSX franchise Im sorry I love the SSX games but they need a REALLY good comeback for their fans.
