I own a pet rat named Ron, so I can definitely agree with the fact that they're incredibly smart, loving pets. I can't imagine how anybody can be cruel enough to want to kill innocent animals this way.
@KorkemEstader Did you know there are things called antibiotics and the plague is hardly a problem any more, and that you can prevent these things WITHOUT a glue trap?
PETA you are aware that rodents often contain harmful if not deadly diseases to human beings. Their feces are well known to contain deadly parasites to humans. By removing them from a human environment you are saving human lives. As a decent human being I put the safety and love of my fellow humans before the lives of animals. If my cat and you were falling off a bridge I would reach to save you. I love my cat and strongly dislike you, yet I value your life more over hers.
@bladudemovies Missing the point. That rodents harbour disease doesn't make it right to torture one in extremely cruel ways, when you can kill it quickly. That seems to be their message here. Of course, people like you who have no problem being cruel to animals will find any excuse to justify yourself.
@bladudemovies Dude, you are aware that PETA people and most animal people aren't paranoid about diseases passed through feces and manure to humans. Could there be problems? Absolutely. We are concerned, though, that all creatures are treated in a manner where pain and suffering is not an issue. And I don't ever say that I'd choose to help one over another. I, too, would go to the ends of the Earth for my family, some having two legs and some having four.
If you are going to trap mice use the standard mouse traps you see in cartoons and such. That will break the neck and kill it instantly. The poison and glue traps are terrible.
I hate glue traps. I work at a grocery store and whenever I see someone buy them I always tell them that a regular snap trap is better. I also try to ward people away from poisons. I don't understand how anyone could argue for glue traps in place of snap traps. Awesomekideli- your arguments are invalid. Snap traps catch the same, provide an instant death for the animals, and I've yet to see a mouse or a rat bloodied by a snap trap. You are MORE likely to get diseases from using glue traps.
yes mice can carry disease but come on that's just cruel whoever uses these things have no heart and are demented mentally ill individuals.I just catch them and let them back out into a sewer system.
The store where I worked used these boards. No one wanted to touch them, so they just died in misery. Sometimes I'd see the same mouse for days in the same place. I would have to take it outside and smash the poor creature to put it out of it's misery. It was a horrible disgusting day after day ordeal for me, and my co-workers were emotionally disturbed forever as I am to this day, it still makes me sick to my stomach to even start thinking of it again.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW THATS SOOOO SAD!!!!!!!! Right now we have a bunch of mice in our home but none of us wants to kill them in a mouse trap (especially not me), and I can't believe PETA sells those human mouse traps! I'll get one C:
For a lot of ppl glue traps r their only option i dont use them but my friend does cuz she just had twins and NEEDS to get rid of huge RATS Fast she doesnt want snap traps or anything like that because she doesnt want to deal with bloody diseased animals.. Please leave alternitive ways to rid a house of rats (no poison)
Years ago I rescued a tiny lizard stuck to a glue trap found in a neighbor's garage. I rubbed butter all over the exposed glue areas. Then I dipped a cotton swab in butter and gently inserted the greased swab beneath attached body areas which counteracted the gluey substance. I had to be very gentle especially around little fingers and toes. The last area to be freed was the chin area. When I had finished the little lizard wasted no time in running free. I'll never forget this.
Nigdy nie stosowałem i nie zastosuje pułapki klejowej. Jeśli już mam się pozbyć szkodników to stosuje żywołapki i wypuszczam zwierzę gdzieś dalej. W końcu to normalne ze szukają pokarmu i schronienia tam gdzie o to najłatwiej - w pobliżu człowieka. Grettings from Poland!
Breaks my heart to think of all these little guys suffering like that. I couldnt watch the screen after the first horrible scene. Its needless suffering!!!
In a just world, any factory making glue traps (or any instruments facilitating torture) would be burned to the ground before they ever went into operation.
these are rats who carry disease and some ppl are going gaga over them........they are rodents plain and simple

People need to respect all forms of life. There are ways to prevent rodents without making them suffer and/or die!
civicstylez98 1 month ago
Glue traps are cruel and unnecessary. I opt for humane, catch-and-release traps instead. You can buy them at most hardware stores and even from PETA!
