On the Mk2 The rear light PLINTHS supported two light lens each, then one light with the rear/stop/turn indicator. The last lights ended up on the body, rather than wings.
You are trying to refine your car to what it started as - A racing body for the TD.
I've had three. Found them a bit weak, structurally. A shame, as they were a pretty, sensible, iconic little cars.
The Mk2 grill surround was the same but the slats all stood upright, recessed. Monocoque model B, followed.
Nice and sporty modified MG MGA. I like the windscreen very much.
But.. this is not a MGA 1600 Mk II but an early MGA 1500 roadster.
You only have to look at the rear lights to distinguish the models. 1500: these small rear lights. 1600: taller rear lights with two lenses (red and orange) also on the wings. 1600 Mk II: horizontal rear lamp design just below the trunk lid. The Mk II also has the grill with recessed 'spokes'.

Needs a proper MKII grill, That is the most distinctive feature of the MKII. Strange to see the over riders on the back with no bumper. A MKII should also have slot on the lower valance on the front as this model had an oil cooler. Love the wind screen.
It reminds me of a Porsche Speedster meets MGA. Sleek, simple and beautiful.

really like the smooth front skirt! I removed my bumper and windshield too but my fiberglass skirt is flatter where the chrome bumper would be.
