  • good work, bad presentation, maybe a nice slideshow would've done the job!

  • okey im very questionalble about how that body just filled itself in on 0.18 i asume this wwas a photo of the body as an object other wise you woulda hap to put transparent gradiants over it

  • 685€ for this program in german...

    just crank :/

  • In the time it took you to do that, a 3D modeller did the same thing, but can now display it from any angle, in any light condition, with reflections etc.

    U mad?

  • it was a really great job. i dont know why people are hating.

  • i bet u tracing the real corvette

  • can somone tell me about this vector stuff cause it looks so realistic but how did he get it all to scale? did he trace with pen tool and paste and kill fill with color? cause im used to using photoshop

  • so good...i wish i could be like you ;( I would really like to know how u do the car surface. Adjusting the gradients?

  • hello its a good work no hate please.. -.- i just wish to se how u do this step by step i need help for my Toyota Corolla too :D

  • Wow, this is really impressive.

  • ok sir, i doubt u will answer this but, did you trace a real car? freehand copy one? sketch it on your own? or make it up completely on the program?

  • Awesome video and great car. (and the artist offcourse)

  • Because hes obviously a pro designer. If he sold his work he would be asked for proof of ownership.

  • Nicee :P

  • Because pirated software is against the law, Einstein.

  • did u buy the illustrator or did u download the 30day trial.

  • I've owned Illustrator on the Mac since 1988; I just keep upgrading it. I just bought Illustrator CS2 at the beginning of last year; they work about the same.

  • this is a joke. the corvette already exists, all he does is to enable the visibility of the different layers (watch the mouse on the righthand side of the screen). what's that got to do with design?

  • He made this but he wasn't filming while he made it so he hid all the layers then made them visible one by one to see what he did layer by layer.

  • lol hes an idiot thats why

  • Where did he mention design? All he said was it's what it takes to build a Corvette in Illustrator.

  • keuppart, you obviously know NOTHING about vector.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, That hurts, We're all so hurt by your big bad words . . . Wait, No we're not, Grow up already, It's a personal preference.

  • you are only click on the layers!come on...

  • back in the 70s they designed that vette without computer whch means that this car is indeed a masterpice

  • best portfolio - vektor

  • mira viejo seria bueno que nos digas como lo hisiste no???

  • Fantastic!!

  • i tought cars had 4 wheels...

  • Har-dee-har-har;-)

  • wow are you trying to be funny or are you 2 years old

  • I think the first...

  • That fordfusion guyis a tool, seriously! how can you think there the same? U need a mac to do design work.

  • I find it so pathetic that so many people could strongly argue about Mac vs. PC for hours... Who gives a damn what other people buy.

  • macs are better, the operating system works faster for us and the quality is better. PC's are better if you're on a budget and want to do more than graphics.

    end of.

PC at home, mac at work.

  • So if you're such an experience graphic why don't you put some video on youtube ?? Show me your skillz ...

  • i am educating you on COMPUTERS not ART. you obviously need to be educated if you think its expensive because its GOOD. you can use a PC to play games AND do art shit. and using the PC to do art shit will be NO DIFFERENT then using a mac! the only reason macs are more expensive is because fools like you, who are easily persuaded by fancy things, think its somehow BETTER than PC.

  • what? im not an artist. i dont give a shit about art. i am trying to educate you that there is no reason to buy a mac. unless you like spending more money or like the design of the actual computer. computers shouldnt be purchased based on how the case looks. :|

  • umm ok so you've never used a mac?

So tell us, how much better are pc's, exactly? Compared to your experience of using a mac? What do you think of the way that the operating system handles switching between applications as opposed to pc's?

  • i've used macs in school. whats better about pc's? 1. they're cheaper 2. you can upgrade them and buy parts for them 3. just about every program and utility will work on pc. 4. mac's cant play games

switching between applications? that all depends on the amount of memory, speed of the cpu, etc. my pc is from 2003 and it handles switching between applications very well.

  • macs own pc's. you just don't know it because the one's at your school aren't good enough.

  • whatever asshole..

  • i have a top of the range computer and have played on the latest macs and macs are amazing for editing and design and pc's are good all round.

  • Mac's can play games with Bootcamp

Macbook PRO can play crysis at good settings

Mac's have an intel processor now, they are basicly PC's with expensive hardware inside

  • yes. it is composed of assholes. macs dont do SHIT for graphics. thats bullshit. get out of here!!!!!!

  • illustrator works on PC too. there is NO DIFFERENCE using programs on a mac. but mac is more expensive for no reason, you cant open it up and upgrade it and change parts, you cant play PC games on it. mac blows hard. i have no idea why the asshole graphic community chooses to use these asshole computers. my guess is that art people are stupid when it comes to technical things. they just see that macs are pretty and have a pretty interface and are lured into it.

  • what th fuc,k if it's not mac :) nice work :)

  • FUCK mac

  • what screen capture program do u use

  • lmao, he used a fuckin camera, thats why its so shitty, if you want one, its called camtasia

  • Lovely Illustration. I love watching people's work 'appearing' in front of me - it's fascinating to watch and is an inspiration to us lesser artists who hope to be that good one day.

As for that Espada - what a f*****g p***k!!! I would go on, but he's not worth my time - or anyone's I wouldn't have thought.

  • how the hell do u get shading and brightness and stuff i'm lost

  • brilliant illustration dude!

Could you make a video tutorial on how you do these awesome car illustrations? How you use gradients and stuff?

  • Thats amazing, im just gettin started with illustrator, hope to be able to do something like this at some point

  • If I were insecure, I wouldn't be in the illustration business in the first place, let alone posting my work on YouTube. And speaking of posting, where are YOUR videos, o secure one?

  • So everybody who doesn't post on YouTube, but does watch videos is insecure? You're too funny!

"If I were insecure, I wouldn't be in the illustration business in the first place"

Also such a funny comment, so illustrator are never insecure?

    Is your nick name "clown"?

  • I've dealt with your type before, 07espada. Your only talent is criticizing other people. (You're not very good at that, by the way.) And yes, I'd be inclined to take you seriously if your YouTube site actually had some videos that you had shot. Or do you even know which end of a video camera to look through?

  • 07espada, you are putting crappy messages on every illustrator video you see online (I just noticed). What's your problem? Jealous that people can be what you will never be? Show us your stuff so we can see how GREAT you are, or shut that mouth of yours for good.

  • i hate you. you are a scum bag. go sit in the corner, until you die. then you will probably fall to your side....and rot

  • The description doen't make any sence...

  • anybody know of cheaper vector art software's then adobe offers

  • Torrent or Wmule

  • there's a program called Lineform. its simpler and more intuitive to use and is only $80. (at least thats what the website says.)

  • inkscape its not the best but its free :)

  • I was expecting to see you working the meshes in fast forward. Well, I guess even that would take too long. Still, that was a nice piece.

  • There's no meshes; they're all done using regular gradients. I do all my car illustrations that way;-)
