In the first scenario with the girl in pink-haired cosplay, all the other customers sitting down staring at her were dressed in normal clothes.

In the second scenario, a dude in normal clothes was being stared at by all the other customers who were all dressed in cosplay.

It's like "the tables are turned" and the person in normal clothes sees what it feels like to be the odd one out.

They cosplay, but they have a ton of unwritten rules about where you can cosplay, when you can cosplay, etc. So having a food court full of cosplayers is not something you would see in Japan. The con scene in Japan is extremely different than it is in America.

This one is really good! I can relate to this one more than the 2009 one--I mean, who HASN'T felt out of place for being a fan boy/girl? Though, the same issue I had with the old one I have with this one--no African Americans or other nationalities I can see...If there's going to be a commercial for Louisianime in May of 09, then you have GOT to step up the color!

I do agree I wish we had more diversity, though every in the video is a volunteer, and unless the person is in the general area it is filmed and willing to volunteer then we have very little control over that. I'll definitely keep that in the notes I am compiling for next year to pass on.
