  • :( Oh but I play a rogue

  • Dresden files..... Wait is that a movie as well as a series of books?

  • @mineycrafty99 It was briefly a television series in the beginning of 2007 that was unfortunately cancelled despite bringing in over 200% more viewers than previous shows in its time slot. I quite enjoyed it, though the Dresden Files fandom is split on the subject.

  • @WinglessAngelStudios

It was decent for what it was, but the books completely overshadow it with awesome. Plus, that damn hockey stick.

  • i end up saying "don't split the party" way too often, no one listens to the Paladin

  • Eldorodo is one of my favourite movies. Ever since I was a kid

  • 3 main rules of D&D

    1. Never split the party

    2. A statue is never just a statue

    3. Never trust the rogue

  • @blownuper You seem to have forgotten.....

    4. There is no such thing as "Enough rope."

  • @HOSER922 so true lol

  • avatar is not an anime lol

  • Pure Epic lol

  • hahahaha talking about EPICNESS xD

  • Brilliant. This advice is gamemaster approved! Heh. Because if you make me do EXTRA MATH while you are all scattering, I will make you REGRET IT. Briefly. In your last moments.

  • Back when I use to DM (not that long ago really) I required all players who never played DnD b4 to listen to this song first then read the player's manual or handbook 1.

  • GO DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS!!!

  • Wonderful video for the audio. Thank you.

  • lol i had this happen to me too, but ironic it wasn't a dungeon, it was a town.

the first town we got to since we started and we ended up running everywhere. and the DM could not handle all of us. we ended up not doing a thing for hours and fighting with each other.

  • Never let the damn thief out of sight!

Last time we did, she tried to steal from the dragon's hoard while it was asleep ON IT! How her character didn't die that day I don't know.

  • @Sacredor luck of the dice XD

  • My GM hate's it when people split up, and it always ends in disaster. Hilarious disaster, but disaster none the less.

  • I love Jonathan as the thief.

  • @WindSpirit22

Agreed. Jonathan is by far the best character in the Mummy franchise, mostly because of his brilliant actor.

  • Died laughing!!! I love E.R and this just made them all the better

  • Whoot So True! The song is a win!

  • Ugh, damn thieves indeed... Our thief now has a few shadowdancer levels: ít gets a bit frustrating when she pantses you, then quickly hides in your own shadow against a DC 40+ check for the umpteenth time.

  • Reminds me of my last D&D game, (PS that's why I always make friends with the thief)

  • I find this song and video very amusing xD

  • lol that last part of the rule my party never remembers, im the halfling rogue, of course i didnt mention the room full of loot.

  • hahahahah!!! i love this! its exactly like me, and, 2 or 3 of my friends, XD and you used anime so that jsut makes it better(Avatar counts as an americanized anime in my opinion)

  • I hate to break it to you, but Avatar is a cartoon. A fun cartoon, one for all ages, but still a cartoon. Just like anime are cartoons. There's nothing wrong with liking cartoons.

  • @WinglessAngelStudios

Um... actually, anime is different then a cartoon, simply because cartoons are traditionally meant for kids, when anime can cover a wide range of topics that are more serious and more morally stirring (like Trinity Blood for instance).

    Otherwise, awesome video!

  • @SilentMingan Incorrect. Anime is a loanword, taken from the French word for "animation", which is just another word for, you guessed it, "cartoons". Now, when most people SAY "anime" in the United States and potentially other English-speaking countries, we all know they mean Japanese animation, which, to be fair, does often cover more genres and demographics than American cartoons. Early cartoons were not all meant for kids.

And anyway, Avatar isn't an anime, which was my point anyway.

  • @WinglessAngelStudios Technically Futurama is an anime since it is drawn at Rough Draft Studios in Korea. Anime is such a broad way, its fun to see "Otaku" get snooty when you derogate it to what it is... a cartoon!

  • @WinglessAngelStudios

actually, in Japan they still call Avatar an "anime". in Japan any animated picture is anime. it just translates to cartoon/animation. it does NOT matter where the cartoon was made.

they took the English word animation and converted it to katakana (the language system they use for all "borrowed"words) to get something that sounds like animeshon. in the 1970s people started using a short-hand word for it = anime. just like when we say, just a "sec" not second :)

  • @nautalius And in America Avatar remains a cartoon, which is my entire fucking point. I know that in Japan it would be called an animé, as all animated features are. Though it appears the origins of the word animé are in dispute - the version I heard was the French loanword one.

  • @WinglessAngelStudios I like how people are arguing with you over whether it's called an anime or not when you are just saying that it is a cartoon as well. Good video by the way

  • @WinglessAngelStudios @nautalius It's anime enough that it doesn't really matter.

  • @WinglessAngelStudios That you for being "That Guy" on the internets. All Anime may be Cartoons, but all Cartoons are not Anime. The crap made for people like you are just cartoons, where the rest of us enjoy the deeper meanings hidden in Anime.

  • @Dragdamar Oh, honey, aren't you just the cutest little thing?

Not all cartoons are crap -- Beauty and the Beast was nominated for Best Picture in the early nineties. Avatar: the Last Airbender is rife with deeper meanings, and is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. And believe me, I'm including anime in that category.

You know, I used to be an anime snob like you. I was sixteen then. I've grown up a lot since then, and realised that there is crap anime, too.

  • @Dragdamar I love anime and cartoons both, I can draw both and I want to be an animator. Of both. The only difference is that Japanese cartoons (anime) tend to be less realistic, more sexual and more fantastical.

  • @WinglessAngelStudios

Technically inaccurate, actually. Cartoons are a specific subgenre of animation characterized by a simple, exaggerated style. In other words, all cartoons are animation, but not all animations are cartoons.

Avatar, however, still a cartoon, and there's nothing wrong with that.

    Also, this video is awesome.

  • @WinglessAngelStudios Who cares whats a cartoon, I fu**ing love this song >:P Great jo

  • @SilentMingan actually thats not true at all. anime derives from the word animation. animation is another word for cartoon. for example bugs bunny cartoon was originally for adults hence the older ones with all the smoking and alcohol content and whistling at sexy female ideals. even today there are a wide range of age discretions with cartoons like king of the hill, futurama, family guy, drawn together, doria and so on. Futurama is a perfect example of wide range of serious and moral topics.

  • I love this song. hehehe the thief reminds me of one of the people i played with lol i put a perm. light spell on him to keep him in sight LMAO

  • I was giggling all throughout XD This fits my group of friends, not just in D&D!

  • HARRY! :'D I know where we can keep him...

  • Lol awesome XD

  • That's it, I'm sending this 'round to my D&D group.

  • Hahahaha! I felt like such a geek listening to this song... Fantastic...

  • I so love it. I cover all my bases not only am i pagan. I love anime and all the other movies they used for this plus i love RP so it's a perfect match for me:D

  • Well, there's an informed opinion.

  • hehehhe im in politics!

  • I bet you are.

  • well well well done, marvelous, outstanding...not bad either

  • Very cool! I especially love the Harry Dresden clips.

  • That is so cool!!! thanks. Ill post about it on my Live journal.
