Perhaps I took your comment out of context, but I'm not a fan of Jamie. In fact, I can't stand his style, but I have to respect him because I know it takes a lot more to step into that cage than to fight on the street. You should do a Varner 'Lowlight' video in which you illustrate his ability to turn the tide of fights or regain momentum in his favor by faking injuries or personal emergencies, such as the knee from Cerrone which completely missed him, or the mouthpiece he had rocked from his jaw by Razor Rob and the fight stoppage he called for there in order to get his breath back. No doubt, Varner has skills, he would not be champion without them, however he has forever tainted his image with his faking.

At one time I was Varner's biggest fan, I watched his rise to the top and still feel and know that he has real skills, he is a gorilla and beats his opponents down like dogs. Yes RickyLong you are right, those fights were on Versus, in my area that is channel 31 and those are the fights I typically watch together with those offered on Spike, I stand corrected. None the less I watched the fights live. Let me ask you this, did you see the knee from Cerrone? It did not even contact Varner, stupid as it was for Cerrone to throw it. Varner was gassed and he saw a way out and then took it, this is exactly what he did when Razor Rob was turning around the fight.

I partially agree with you as you can read my reply to the other guy but that knee far from cost him his career. Thats what made people mad was he said his career might be over and it was a very seroius injury and then he comes back on insidemma and said he didn't even have his eye looked at by a specialist till a few days after, he had his broken hand looked at first, and that his eye wasn't really even damaged serously. He definately is a front runner, if there is a way out he takes it.

I agree on the mouthpiece thing but the knee I can't really agree with. The knee grazed him and you can't really blame him for choosing not to continue after an illegal strike as it's within the rules. I got dq'ed in my 3 ammy fight over a similar thing. I was pissed at the time thought it was a chickenshit way out then I found out his eye was partially torn and had to have his eye cauterized, eye injuries aren't anything to screw with.
