On his first audition he came out in a crumpled business suit and the crowd was mocking him like they did Susan and America was worse, they started booing him, but instead of running off the stage, he kept singing and his voice is a God given gift that turned the crowd around to where they were giving him a standing ovation like they did Susan. What's so sad after watching this, is how happy she looked and the media burst her bubble of happiness. They should be drawn and quartered!!! It took a toll on her, which is evident on her on the final performance - not that she didn't do wonderful - but her demeanor was different.

With this type of singing, I suggest the CD be placed on hold. She did not look or sound confident. She started on the wrong foot from the start; missing the very first note, and from there on, the voice was wobbly, with bad tone and lacking resonance. She was off key and with poor diction, timing; without breath support and control. And I believe she had rehearsed a lot for this event. Now we only have a karaoke bar gig with extreme hype! But I wish her the best. Shes a nice person.
Please help Susan to win. I wish I could vote from the states. The world would surely be grateful. Her talent transcends singing or any dancing someone could do. Let's not ruin this chance!

Unfortunately her behaviour is currently letting her down and is she showing signs of it all getting too much for her..... With this type of singing, I suggest the CD be placed on hold. She did not look or sound confident. She started on the wrong foot from the start; missing the very first note, and from there on, the voice was wobbly, with bad tone and lacking resonance. She was off key and with poor diction, timing; without breath support and control. And I believe she had rehearsed a lot for this event. Now we only have a karaoke bar gig with extreme hype! But I wish her the best. Shes a nice person.

with coach/music deal, recording she can work those bugs out and record cd.. as far as how long she will be around who cares the "life" of any singer can be limited . It will be a "ride" she wont forget...travel to places she has not seen, have others care for her!! and her cat..

There is a clip of Susan Boyle singing at 25yrs old on Youtube.... her voice has come a long way since those days..... Unfortunately her behaviour is currently letting her down and is she showing signs of it all getting too much for her..... I never saw her as another Shirley Bassey or star of that nature anyway..... it is probably best she does not win the show, but goes on to make her own CD's and only sing occasionaly.... I do not see this little old lady with a cat touring the world at all.

MORE RHETORICAL QUESTIONS:
1 Why do you not shake your hips in the presence of your "non-judgemental friends"--how do you foresee their reaction to be, and how would you feel about yourself doing it?
2 Why then do you DELIGHT in seeing ANOTHER FELLOW-60YO FELLOW-MISSHAPEN woman do what YOU YOURSELF would never do and YOU YOURSELF KNOW you would never get away with?

I make no judgements about your life in general.
But a MENTALITY which delights--"feels refreshed"--at seeing someone else do what you yourself find to be an embarrassment is a PATHETIC ATTITUDE.
FACE IT: you enjoy seeing someone else do what would repulse you if you yourself did it.
What do you think Susan Boyle is, YOUR CIRCUS MONKEY? (another rhetorical question)
