  • this can't be awful

  • This movie is a giant piece of steaming camel shit!

  • @TheAltair4

I agree, did you see this in theaters or rented it on video as a kid?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I saw it on video as a kid and what a completely worthless pile of crap it was.

  • Terrible movie, i rented it when i was 6 with my big brother and i thought it was disgusting and i re-rented it when i was 14 and GOD it sucked ass

  • I loved this film man.

  • Comment removed

  • the original rocked.

  • @DerekGaming

This is not a remake or sequel to the film your thinking of.

  • OMG the 80's had the best horror movies..the more simple a horror movie is the better IMO..and don't use any well known faces, that ruins it

  • "Return To Horror High... it's ass cream."

  • @ShxtBlowsUp LMAO

  • @ShxtBlowsUp Fking LOL

  • I found this DVD at Smiths! Hah!

I remember watching it long ago and it confused the hell outta me. Still does. But I do love it!! :)

  • im bout to c it now

  • I remember this. I found it funny especially the producer, writer, and directer fighting about the conent of the movie. The directer trying to make a serious movie. The writer trying to tell the truth. The producer wanting a cheap b-movie.

  • @rathraven1313 The scene gives us the great line: "Fixing this script would be like polishing a turd."

  • First horror movie I ever saw, lol

  • this movie sucks.

  • kick ass movie..... This is where today's "SCREAM" bullshit movie sequals were based of this original movie!

  • @0:44 it looks like the trailer for suspiria

  • @halloweenfriday what's the name of that movie again?

  • @UPrankers suspiria

  • The cheerleader in this trailer was HOT!

  • B Movies were created for a Teenage Audience. They were usually shown in cinemas on BOGOF, to encourage people to go see movies there instead of at home. At the time in which B Movies were created, the television had taken over a large sector of cinema go-ers and so poorly made slasher movies were the next big thing for the teenagers at the time! Bargain Movies!

  • You may think it is terrible and shocked that I worked on it but the original script had a parallel storyline with the audience not knowing what was reality. We never had time to shoot the entire script thus the confusing film that you see. There were many pluses

  • I wonder if the creators of Scream watched this before they made the first of the movies.

  • @Japaneseanimeguy

I wonder if Wes Craven watched this AND Student Bodies. :D

  • i have to watch this again especially since i found out george clooney is in this

    he play's oliver

  • i was watching this today and i did not know that guy was colony i was so surprised

  • see entire version with the following video right here in mimb o .net remove space

  • That looks terrible lol

  • what happened to the good old days where if a vampire went into sunlight he/she would burst into flames and NOT sparkle!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just barfed...they actually made a followup to Horror high. }:)

    Thanx!!!

  • I'm sure the class reunions at that high school are quite "a scream" too.

  • hey scream ripped this off

  • who this dude at 1:05

  • @15jacala That's George Clooney

  • @15jacala George Clooney looking spunky as ever :P

  • what year did you shoot this movie??

  • George Clooney at 1:04

  • This movie sucks so bad.

  • oww thats great to have this lol

  • Horrible movie. It's bad when the box art is scarier than the actual movie. It used to scare the shit out of my brother whenever we would go into the horror section of the grocery store's rental area.

  • was george clooney in this movie ?

  • @LaLa1689 yes he was

  • @LaLa1689 this is Gearge Clooney's 1st film he was in i checked on imdb.com

  • return to horror high.. so not a documentary on columbine high school today.

Actually i rented this movie years ago, was into horror films at the time

  • @tqsuited

    That was low, dude.

  • @compsciguy Whatever... dude.

  • george cloney as oliver.... classic

  • i saw this in late 1986 at the theater. it was kind of uneventful but not the worse movie i ever saw. at least it wasn't annoying like most movies became by the early 1990s.

being that it was a "return" movie i thought the previous horror high was made in the early 1980s but the first horror high was instead made in the 1970s.

  • I was an extra in this movie, it was one of the first movies I was in when I moved to CA. But... I never saw the movie, just happened to look it up. Where has the time gone? It was fun on the set, I had a blast.

  • I saw this on Fearnet. I love movies like this! It's ART in it's purest form :)

  • Cool trailer, bad movie XD

  • Saw this at the theatre, and to this day, it holds the record for lowest attendence of any movie I went to.....There was just me and my date...We had the whole place to ourselves, I wonder Why.

  • @geoindy

Just you and your date and you actually payed attention to the film?

  • "It's ass cream" ? Is that what the voice-over guy says at the end?

  • I think that EVERY time!

  • @kuliana28 That is hilarious....that is what it sounds like!

  • @kuliana28 Yeah I think you are right on this, I think for sure he's saying that it's ass cream. =]

  • @kuliana28 just saw the movie and the guy was right, total ass cream!

  • @kuliana28 I think he sais: "It's a scream"

  • both clooney and pitt each in an 80s horror flick ahahaha

  • to be honest I thought this was a pretty gud movie when I saw it

  • same here i loved it when i saw it i was 12 then though..lol i want to watch it again to see if i would still like it

  • @msluckygirl57 - I'm with you, good harmless fun .

  • I remember the vhs tape cover, a skeleton 's cheerleader right?

  • Yes!! Something that never actually appeared in the movie

  • @tonyamalika lol that was on a stephen king book cover too!

  • @XxSkyisheavenscentxX

    What book was it?

  • The people who made Scream ripped this idea off

  • the killer looks like an early scream guy

  • yeah thats what he looked like before he had a seizure

  • rhwasc - i loved this movie as a kid and i love it now. i don't think it was disjointed. even as a kid, i could tell where real life/ movie life began. its not rocket science. i thought maureen maccormick was great as the gorehound cop, and i thought then ending was brilliant.

  • This is a horrible movie. Saw it once a few years ago and I never want to see it again.

  • this looks like a cool movie

  • yea i waNNa sEE this i gueSS

  • george clooney???

  • I remember this film quite vividly. I had a few projects, including trying to develop an RPG that involved going after & trying to eradicate the Horror Film VIllains. I always ranked this killer, who I called "Hatchet Face", rather highly.

I would've loved to be cast in a film like this one. I wonder if anyone's taken my idea for a crippled serial killer yet?

  • a classic. if u dont like it, no one cares, dont watch it.

  • wtf

  • damm good ass movie

  • The reason the film seems so disjointed is because of these missing elements. It was a too ambitious script for the money. We knew there had been a "Horror High" but it was not intended as a sequel. I did this film right after I did the original "Witchboard". For whatever you think of the film the cast and crew had a great time making it. I remember George Clooney being very interested in the process. He was a struggling actor hoping to get a chance on a series.

  • No, it was meant as a send up to all these films. It's a film within a film with a great many inside jokes for film makers. Alex Rocco has some of the best when he speaks to the crew member who has not gotten paid. I wish you could read the original script. It was much more complex.

  • We had a great time working on this film. It was like being in high school. Well, actually we were in high school. We had a remarkably great cast who, gor the most part, all knew each other. The neatest gag was the kids being sucked in by the sandbox. That was built on a platform so that the actor could be sucked in.

  • You wouldn't believe how many times I've seen this movie. I LOVE IT! We'd love to hear more stories you have about the filming of this movie!

  • this was suposed to be a sequel to some movie?

  • I have this on DVD and me and my friends can never tell if this movie was suppose to be a comedy or a horror or a mix of both!!

  • It was suppose to be both. The original script had a parallel story where you were never quite sure of what was then and what was now but unfortunately we didn't have the time or money to film it. I went right from this to "Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors".

    Roy H. Wagner ASC

    director of photography

  • Sort of reminds me of buffy the vampire slayer and the hell mouth lol..

  • 1:18 Man I love that style of zoom in!!

  • the zolly?

  • That's what style it is?

  • yeah

    created by alfred hitchcock

  • It's called a slip zoom. You dolly in and zoom out or dolly out and zoom in keeping the character size the same. I was the cinematographer on "Return to Horror High"

    Roy H. Wagner ASC

    director of photography

  • Cool, thanks! How was it to be on the set of this film? The trailer creeped me out as a kid in the 80's, my friend would shut his eyes through it, lol.

  • @rhwasc

You actually worked on this film?

  • Ha, now I know where Ghostface got the idea for his oufit.

  • i saw this movie when i was 12 it was good back then..lol

i would still watch it again though :P

  • This has nothing to do with the1974 film "Horror High" aka "The Twisted Brain," which (imho) is the far better film.

It's a sequel in name only, and that's about as good as it is..see the original "Horror High" and have a great time! :)

  • this movie was so fuckin funny

  • I remember this film.

I must've been the only one who has ever seen it, that gets it.

Maybe because this movie started me down the path to studying serial killers.

It may suck to most people, but 'Hatchet Face' will always be one inventive killer, to me.

  • One of the few 80s horror films I hate. As a lover of most things retro, especially horror, I was greatly dissapointed. At least Maureen McCormick was good. Hilarious.

  • What, did George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Tom Hanks all get together in the 80's and make a pact to be in a bad horror film before the end of the decade?

  • I really liked this movie actually. Well done parody of slashers.

  • even though these kind of movies suck (bad acting, blood looks like red paint ect. )they are quite entertaining. 80's slashers are the shit!

  • LOL nice toilet scrubbing gloves

  • is the killer wearing yellow rubber gloves lmao how lame is that!

  • I've seen this movie but I can't remember a damn thing about it other than it is somewhat confusing.

  • Hmm....I'm kinda curious to see that movie. :/

  • I saw a Horror movie once back in the early 90's like 90, and there was a guy walking around a School wearing a Motorcycle Helmet and shooting people.

  • Ha, I love how the comedy in the movie was so bad that they went for straightforward-ness with the trailer.

  • the movie was surely confusing just watched on encore

  • Nice....

  • if i can recall seening this movie years ago... the girl who played marica brady was up there too..she played a cop

  • George Clooney at 1:05

  • I guess he had to pay the rent somehow

  • Not a very good movie, but this trailer freaked me out in the middle of sleep somenight in January 1987

  • is movie was good it look like all the horror movies from the 90s that I seen but this is from the 80s. You know the ones from the late 90s to now some of them sucks now PG-13 and all that crap. Now this is how horror movie are made and I liked it.

  • @KHWendy28

Are you saying pg-13 horror is crap? Have you ever seen an r rated horror that was bad? I have!

  • @compsciguy but for me I love blood and gore now thats a horror movie PG-13 do not show that much blood and the good stuff that what I like best about a horror movie.

  • that cheerleader in the beginnging use to scare me as a kid

  • Another awesome 80's horror cheese flick! Can't go wrong with em'! Nice upload. Thanks!

    -Shawn

  • Nothing like seeing a, young George Clooney, in a terrible slasher flick, as a cast aside LOL!

Look what he's become today. Just shows ya, everybody has to start somewhere

  • was there ever a horror high

  • Yeah, was originally called Twisted Brain.

  • yes. but it was a completely unrelated film.

  • haha, george clooney dies in this movie.

  • Cool, gotta see this movie!

  • stupid movie

    the ending made NOOOO sense

  • Great trailer.Great Movie
