The movie's about two ranchmen who are assigned to work alone up on Brokeback Mountain. During their time together, they form a relationship and fall madly in love with each other, but there are so many problems with this because both men are married (not to mention being gay is forbidden in the setting of the movie). It's incredibly beautiful and moving and sad. You should go rent it.

Yes, Jack was looking at Ennis in his rearview mirror while he was shaving, but Ennis was looking at Jack, too. So I think they both were attracted to each other. Haha, I love Junjou, actually. Yeah, the Usagi/Misaki couple is a bit annoying at times, but I still love it. Ohh yeah, that scene with Hiroki and Nowaki is somewhat similar to moments in Brokeback.

Neither Ennis nor Jack completely "approved" of their relationship. It was way back when; even talking about gay stuff was taboo. They were denying it out loud as a means to remove some of the taboo-ness that they were feeling themselves. I think it was their way of accepting that, despite society deeming what they were doing/going to do as "wrong," they didn't care anymore, and each guy just wanted to be with the person he loved, whether male or female, homo or hetero.

When it comes to anime, I almost exclusively watch yaoi. :P There're a few exceptions, like Death Note, but still... DN leaves the door way open for gay fanfics.

I think Ennis truly does believe it's Jack's fault for coming along and "making" Ennis be gay for him. If the two'd never met, they probably would've led regular, straight-guy lives until they died. Although, there is debate as to whether the guys are thoroughly gay or just straight guys who happen to fall in love...
