does anyone notice that the halo combat evolved anniversary pistol is coppied fromm halo 3?

have a look at it, they have just added an updated filter to make it look better, and used the halo 1 annimations.

i wonder if the pistol zoom in getting taken off had anything to do with martin o'donnell. in the halo 3 legendary pack dvd commentary of halo 1 he talks about how he never saw why you should zoom in on the pistol. idk just a thought.

Halo=Too powerful and has zoom

Halo 2=weak and no zoom and not accurate

Halo 3=stronger and more accurate.

Halo 1 pistol=Kinda powerful and has zoom and shoots kinda slow

Halo 2 pistol=Powerful and you can shoot it very fast and its accurate

Halo 3 pistol=More powerful than halo 1 and halo 2 pistol but shoots even slower

Well......Lets see here. The halo 1 pistol took probably 7 shots to kill!!!

The h3 pistol took 5 shots to kill

Not exactly. it is not about aim. besides........The halo 1 pistol has a scope that is not that accurate. It has a KFA X2 scope That has only 2x zoom. You can even look at montage videos and you will see that it takes 6-7 shots to kill somebody with the halo 1 pistol. it takes 8 shots for the halo 2 pistol.

@IAmJawz actually 2 head-shots, 1 Headshot to take off a sheild, and then another to take the spartan down. I have Halo CE so it may be different :/

Well...when you think about it....yes....everybody has a hard time aiming when you are moving and when you shoot them they move side to side and jump up and down making it almost impossible to kill them and also you have to move the mouse around. My friend hooked up his controller to his pc and he told me it was easy with the controller. I think the pistols have equal strength but the halo 3 pistol doesnt fire as fast as the halo 1 pistol

They "balanced" it in Halo 2 as it was to powerfull in Halo 1. So you could dual wield but yeah, it sux ballz. I think in Halo 3 it's going to be around the same as in Halo 1.

Do you stil have dual pistols in Halo 3? Or was that removed for the Magnum?

I am not really sure why the pistol still doesn't have a scope but this new pistol still takes 5 headshots to kill someone so it is quite strong. Anyways, the Halo 3 pistol can't fire very far like the Halo 1 pistol so what is the point of putting a scope. =]

The prob is bengie needs to make it futuristic without it being gay and have smootie makers attached and scopes and little keyrings of grunts, it fires really slowly so i reckon that this pistol will be quite balanced

bungie is probably going to make them weaker because the magnums in halo 2 were never that strong and they made them weaker.
