Myles Kennedy is the best singer Slash has worked with post-Axl IMO. And you can't expect him to simply do a Scott impression, he's his own man. Scott didn't impersonate Axl on old GN'R tracks. Slash has one hell of a back catalogue to select for a live show. Sidenote: I hate when we get massive crowds like this, who fail to make any significant noise or really do anything at all.
