hey i just painted my guitar solid white (nitrocellulose laquer). im thinking of doing some hand painting on top. what kind of paint do i need so that it sticks on the nitro? i havent done clear coats yet. thanks!

It is a fantastic guitar. A connoisseur's instrument...the sound is amazing. Better than a Les Paul, and is for *creators* of music.

...but me thinks "Gary" paints such a great sunburst finish because he actually SEES a sunburst. LOL

Strats are some of the best guitars in the world. It's really stupid to decide not to buy them because of some vigier guitars.

Fenders quality drops more and more every year. They are at their lowest point ever now. You can spend equal money with another company, and get a lot better quality. Fender is nothing but a name anymore.

I would disagree with that statement since I own two strats my self, an 01 US strat and a 54 US strat. When compared in tone the 01 strat was actually a bit more smooth and warm and strat like then the 54. The 54 feels nicer but after a few years, the 01 will brake-in also. EACH guitar is different no matter how alike they might seem. No two woods are EVER exactly the same!

The big compartmentalised box behind the guitar is actually creating an air draught which sucks the spray away from the sprayer. :-)
