HTPC Mythubuntu setup with Twinhan DVB-S card

DVB-S eh? I tried installing MythTV on my box, but I was surprised to find out that mythtv can't automatically scan for channels from the sattelites I specify. I'm new to this whole thing so maybe I don't understand everything, but my readymade sattelite box can scan for channels easily. I'm also pretty sure that there are tools out there that scan for channels automatically. With mythTV you'd have to input the "transponders" manually. Very tedious in my opinion.

Any workarounds?

mythbuntu seems sweet, except the only drawback is that theres no digital rights for blu ray. downer...

Yes it can. Hardware only receive digital signal. Than software decode information from encoded stream. I do encoding in windows with AltDVB. Now , in linux not try yet. But i wish soon do this.

Can this card decypher scrambled channels through emulation?
