@ColossusShade I looked at your profile. You're either mad you have to take Eng. lit. in college or you're just a troll. Anyways (from my upcoming Kindle book)...
I lived near Amherst, MA for over a decade. Passed The Homestead many, many times on Main Street. Her spirit still lives there... you can feel it, and in the town itself.
@JakeDonaghue Morse Code message coming in from Emily Dickinson sir! It says - dash dash dash dash dash dash dash. EngLit joke there. I'm ashamed to say I was at Amherst (class of 1994) and never went to this house. It was like literally next door. Shame on me!
Messmarizing !! juz cant go out of tune while listening 2this album,,,,, its damn awesum,,, dowloaded the entire album for free at DownloadMusic/./im , remove the slashes..
Ernie Urvater's and Tery Allen's thoughtful meditation on the life and work of one of the greatest minds of the 19th Century is seductively hypnotic while being inspiring and educational. I highly recommend experiencing the whole production.
I wouldn't expect anything less than perfection from a production by Ernie Urvater! And I see from this glimpse of "The Poet in her Bedroom" that I won't be disappointed. I've followed Ernie Urvater's video productions for over 20 years and continue to enjoy whatever emerges from his talent.
A must for those who live in and around Amherst, a beautifully crafted depiction of the Belle of Amherst and her home. For those who have visited or plan to visit the poet's bedroom, this is a must have keepsake!

Nice home. No wonder Emily decided to spend the rest of her life there.
Fascinating individual and one of the few great women authors. One of the greatest old souls who ever lived.

A dream is a butterfly
Fresh from the cocoon
That is realized and soon
Flutters up into the sky
Or faltering, goes astray
Is suddenly killed
While young still
And fast fades away.
Emily is my inspiration. She LIVES.

Lovely! It's clear that every woman writer needs a room of her own with a door she can close.
