  • Nice home. No wonder Emily decided to spend the rest of her life there.

Fascinating individual and one of the few great women authors. One of the greatest old souls who ever lived.

  • worst "poet" EVER

  • @ColossusShade Let's see you write a poem.

  • @AZstarwatcher Roses are red violets are blue I suck at poetry but Emily Dickenson sucks alot more than I do.

    : )

  • @ColossusShade I looked at your profile. You're either mad you have to take Eng. lit. in college or you're just a troll. Anyways (from my upcoming Kindle book)...

    A dream is a butterfly

    Fresh from the cocoon

    That is realized and soon

    Flutters up into the sky

    Or faltering, goes astray

    Is suddenly killed

    While young still

    And fast fades away.

Emily is my inspiration. She LIVES.

  • @AZstarwatcher cliche and pretentious, how great.

  • @AZstarwatcher Silly Sally Sold Salami to a Lad whose name was Tommy

Tommy was a prince you see ?..Who dubbed her Aristocracy ..So Silly Sally Then Became the DAME of Sillyy Solamaine ,,

  • I lived near Amherst, MA for over a decade. Passed The Homestead many, many times on Main Street. Her spirit still lives there... you can feel it, and in the town itself.

  • @JakeDonaghue Morse Code message coming in from Emily Dickinson sir! It says - dash dash dash dash dash dash dash. EngLit joke there. I'm ashamed to say I was at Amherst (class of 1994) and never went to this house. It was like literally next door. Shame on me!

  • you've only left me with a taste and wanting more! wonderful production and excellent script! my 6th grade students enjoyed the video. kudos!

  • What a great glimpse into the life of Emily Dickinson. I'd love to be able to see more.

  • Fabulous, beautiful film! A must see for all Emily Dickinson fans!

  • Ernie Urvater's and Tery Allen's thoughtful meditation on the life and work of one of the greatest minds of the 19th Century is seductively hypnotic while being inspiring and educational. I highly recommend experiencing the whole production.

  • Ernie

an intriguing beginning - post the rest! It looks fascinating

    stephen

  • Very interesting and intriguing. It certainly givesone an appetitite for viewing the entire program.

    Mort Tiersten

  • I wouldn't expect anything less than perfection from a production by Ernie Urvater! And I see from this glimpse of "The Poet in her Bedroom" that I won't be disappointed. I've followed Ernie Urvater's video productions for over 20 years and continue to enjoy whatever emerges from his talent.

  • Very well done. I look forward to seeing the entire program.

    Greg Bachelis

  • A must for those who live in and around Amherst, a beautifully crafted depiction of the Belle of Amherst and her home. For those who have visited or plan to visit the poet's bedroom, this is a must have keepsake!

    Ellen Evert Hopman

author of Priestess of the Forest; A Druid Journey and other volumes...

  • Thank you, Ernie,

A wonderful tribute to one of Amherst's treasures. You have done your usual excellent job in producing it.
