The public beta is coming out in a bit as a matter of fact. Watch the battle reports. i think stalkers are OP. Their blink ability was a hero spell in Warcraft 3. It wasn't OP there, because only one unit could use it. But here...I mean c'mon. A teleporting army. Plus, there's almost no cooldown for it.

Alpha is an early build. Some features might be missing, alot of balancing is not done, and the graphics aren't as good as the final product. It stays in Alpha for a few years, then goes to Beta, where it is now. The test it, Beta is more or less the final product without the last adjustments. After a public beta, they are going to see what other tweaks they can do, and then the game goes gold and is released.
of course Zerg will win.... thier guys are ok on attack power...but they overflow with men... at the last scene protos and terrain could have won ... cus zerg send probably hundreds of more units into battle.

From what I've seen from the footage released, the Protoss and the Zerg are IMMENSELY more powerful than the Terrans. Though I am a little biased (I prefer the Terrans), it doesn't make for good gameplay when there are two dominant races and a third crap race. Infect a barracks and produce FIRING infected marines? Traveling underground? The Terrans better have something akin to ICE-9, Robocop troop drops, or Wizards. Nuclear-Powered Ninja Wizard T-Rex's.
well thats the reason why they made the depot go underground to block off those things that go to infect barrraks and i can guess that the radar tower can detect those things as welll and u can still own as terrans if u know how to play terans very well

What does bother me ever since Brood War was the idea that the Protoss and the Zerg can create units via their enemies (i.e. broodlings, infected Terrans, and Mind Control via Dark Archons). I just can't wait to see everything that Blizzard has come up with. Either way, I'm super excited.

Terrans have sensor tower plus that "infection" time is only 20 sec, after that they return to normal(so i have heard)
