  • And if you like this song, listen to Planet P Project.

  • @GreatGusher I remember "Why Me?" killer song that. That was them right?

  • from 2:59 on the worlds on fire.....

  • @mmusicman11 Hell yeah

  • moveing violation please

  • @uhihyahyo Ok, 45 in a 25 zone?

  • @uhihyahyo Actually someone already posted it

  • Montrose is my favorite guitarist barr none!!!!!

  • @reddgrapes1 One of mine, my all time fave though...Jimmy Page

  • @karlmoles65 I really liked his work on coverdale/page album gave me a whole new respect for him. Rock on!!

  • @reddgrapes1 You're talkin' about Denny Carmassi? I love his work on CP, Heart (The Night is amazing) and Montrose. A very underrated drummer.

  • Pretty coolsound here !! I liked !!! :))) gus

  • I saw Gamma, 1980 when I was in Berlin. So strange that Sammy Hagar was opening for Boston and Gamma came on before Sammy. Montrose was there but not there. The Moon had already left the Earth's pull.

  • @illum8r That must have been an odd, but great show.

  • hey, can't you upload the song What's gone is gone from this album, I am searching for it a long time, thanks for this

  • I remember them playing this on Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum

  • That actual keyboardist/programmer on Gamma 3 was Mitchell Froom, who went on to become one of the most successful producers of the 1980s.

  • I thought this album was another underrated album.

It wasn't stellar but it was pretty good still.

Modern Girl, Stranger, Moving Violation, Condition Yellow. Many albums today you are lucky to have just one good song.

  • Montrose on synthesizer.....incredible! This and 'Wish I Was' are my 2 favs from this underrated band.

  • @StarRidingDreamer That's another good one! Say, your name isn't a portmanteau of a Foreigner and Foghat song is it?

  • It was all good. Montrose and Gamma rocked. Ronnie is a brilliant guitar player.

  • @stratwz He really is

  • Love Montrose and Gamma, I have all the albums and CD's , however I thought by this album things had gone very downhill. This is probably the best track on the album. I thought that in an effort to modernise Gamma they started to sound like Harold Faltimyer at this point.Great guitars from Mr.Montrose though.

  • @MrRicardo11 I prefer Montrose over Gamma myself, but this is definitely my favorite Gamma song.

  • @karlmoles65 Interesting, you think this is better than, Wish I Was, Voyager, Fight To The Finish, Razor King, etc etc. I am surprised ! I agree that this is a great track, but many musicians would argue that it was not their finest hour. !

  • @MrRicardo11 There's something about the song I like. Very Sci-Fi esque

  • I use to play drums to this LP well cassette

  • @ozricstormbringer Hey that's awesome. I used to sing a couple of Montrose tunes in the two bands I used to be in myself. Love your name btw. Mike Moorcock fan? Or is it a Deep Purple reference?

  • I've been waiting for someone to post this for a long time!!!

  • @Tralman1965 Well wait no more!

  • Listened to this back in the early 80's on cassette (cranked of course); thank you.

  • @startover942 Thank you for the kind comment!

  • After 2.28 , what a fucking mindblowing Guitarsolo !!

  • @Tiramisator Ronnie is the man huh?

  • @karlmoles65 Hello karl , thanks , just my fucking opinion , theres only one other person that can do a solo like this. Thats Mike Oldfield. hes my fucking Number one. Discovery , Shine shine, and a lot more. Oldfield have the magic fingers too.

Hope you have pleasure like i have , listen always fucking excellent sound...See ya and thanks for big uploads, waited a long time for all that Montrose stuff...

Montrose on Rock, Robin Trower the blues....Mike on pop, ....

  • @Tiramisator Hiya! And you're very welcome!

  • I know WMG has blocked these 2 songs in the past but is it possible to upload the AOR hits "Right The First Time" (band's biggest hit to date) or "What's Gone Is Gone" also from "Gamma 3"? I can't even find this album at iTunes. The CD has long been out of print & copies of it at Amazon & eBay are pricy. Wish I got it when it was still in print.

  • @bucky468 I'll see what I can do. It's not always possible to get em by, but I'll try. I know what you mean about Gamma stuff being hard to find.

  • @karlmoles65 Best Buy has "Gamma 3" for $15 (sans S&H) but that's still pretty steep. Wounded Bird site has it for $11 but it has an additional $3 S&H charge. Not bad but I'd rather see this album up at iTunes. I e-mailed Rhino Records/WMG & requested that this album be put up at iTunes & I saw it as a complete waste of time. That's WMG for you. Self centered bastards.

  • @bucky468 I hate WMG with a passion that burns

  • @karlmoles65 I meant to say that Rhino/WMG saw my e-mail request as a waste of time. The best they said is "that's not on our agenda at this time but thanks for the input." "Gamma 1" & "Gamma 2" are at iTunes. Why is "Gamma 3" not there? I don't understand it?

  • This is the only Gamma album I love. Please someone out there find live versions of Gamma 3 songs.

  • @cagwa I'll see if I can find any.

  • karl,

could you dial-up "The Third Degree?"

  • @HughCarpenter I'll see what I can do!

  • @karlmoles65 '

    thanks

  • A great Ronnie Montrose Gamma instrumental -- I think it's his best ever!

  • @HughCarpenter I agree, it is Ronnie's best instrumental ever.
