I was just browsing through your blog and landed on your "From Head To Toe Beauty Favorites of 2009 and Thanks" entry and as I read it, this line really caught my interest: "I've always said, my mantra is to use beauty to project the good inside, not as a mask to hide insecurities. i love jen, but i agree with lemonlikelove. why does jen always have to say she's wearing XXS, petite, kids sizes, etc. is the size even necessary? pls don't bash me on this because i enjoy jen's videos, but when i read those sizes everytime she does an outfit, i just wonder? that's all it is, wondering. no bashing of any sort on her. she's great!

@dvcsrsl I do it because my blog (where I post these vids) is in the petite fashion blogging community and we all write down sizes so we can compare and see what may fit us. It's a helpful resource while shopping since I am a size that is difficult to shop for. :)

about the tripod, once you attach your camera to it, you should be able to swivel the camera up and down (imagine a person nodding their head), as well as side to side (like someone shaking their head, saying "no", lol) by maneuvering a lever. ^.^

if you don't want to get a tripod, you can set ur camera on something high, and shoot directly at ur body instead of in the mirror. you can stand far first, so we can see a full body shot, and then move up close so we can see the specifics.
