Finally got around to watching some of your vids...So happy your big white house has sold and your new place is so close to the beach...Wonderful :) and I like the name of the house too :)
Ouch on the power bill. Those rates sound very high compared to the US. I've never paid more than $100 a month here for electric. Water is usually a bit less.
Im so EXCITED for you guys! I cant wait to follow the build :-) I got pics of my daughters place being done over I will share with you in email. I love the NAME too :-) Best of luck always! I cant wait to see it done :-)
Great name for the new home, can't wait to watch it being built :) Glad you sold the previous house, such a relief!! I remember having to move to another state a few years ago and paying for two places at once, had to rent it for a while and luckily the tenants ended up buying it.
@ArgentineShamrock - Yeah in theses unsure economic times, the last thing I wanted to do was have to look after two place... The big one just swallowed money...
@DibbersPage - Glad to see it gone mate, it was lovely be we want to life and don't want to be a slave to a house that takes to much time to look after...
@ThatAussieFamily aw yeah, nice, if your last house is anything to go by, this new house is gonna look just as good if not better, you guys seem to have a good taste in modern style! :)
All the houses being built look like they will be amazing! I can't wait to see what it all looks like when its finished. The beach looks so beautiful as well. Hope all with Katie is going well too!
@juiicyxoprincess - All we want is the simple life Court :) Low maintenance, sand under our feet, and a place that is more like a home instead of the Taj Mahal :)
Things have a way of working out don't they?....The slab for your new home goes in at the same time your old house was sold. The good thing about having no yard is there is no landscape maintenance...smart choice! :) I like watching your videos at this time of year because the temps are cool on your side of the world...it takes me away from the intense heat of my desert reality for a few minutes. -Steve-
@OceanTownPictures - You know Steve, I was saying the exact same thing to Katie just yesterday when we were walking. Everything fell into place in one week... :) I love the Mojave Desert myself... Maybe we should do a house vacation swap some time...
Saw it on FB and glad it sold and you can move on. Katie is a wise woman ;). Oh it will go up quick and can't wait to see your new beach home (Sea La Vie). You will bring love and happiness to it in a short time. You don't need a big pool you got the ocean just at your beck and call. Wish I had small pool myself but it's expensive for sure no matter the size. Kisses to you all including Jazzy and Fat Lard (I hate calling her that lol).
@cozzyk - If we didn't have the girls, I would not have the pool at all with the beach being so close. I find them to be constant money pits, and I'm a saver... (Sea La Vie) it will be... :)
Good stuff! It'll be great watching your house being built.
Good luck with it. I hope it'll be a smooth process this time without the dramas.
