For the longest time there was a rest stop out by where I used to live that had a hand operated water fountain. About 5 years ago though, they did away with the rest stop, and the pump disappeared :-(
finally the first to comment one of your videos! never seen one of these in action, and it still works. on top of that, you say it pumps out great tasting water. honorable mention indeed. wouldnt mind having a taste of that myself.
You've got to watch that whole first comment thing. I don't care one way or the other (someone has to be first!) but some don't like it at all. :-)
Anyway, yes, the water that comes out of this pump is easily the best I've ever had. Since it comes from a deep well, it is cold and wonderful even on the hottest summer day--although you might have to pump for a while to get the really cold water up. I guess you could call it natural refrigeration.
you wasted water...

@Kakashi101sensi Not when it just drains into the well under the pump.

There's a gigantic old hand pump in a cemetery a few towns over from my house! Still works too!

I wish I had a water pump! You could live like the Amish, using only what's needed in life, no necessities!

I think you mean "no luxuries."
A necessity is something that is needed, necessary.
