Moro reflex is AKA, startle reflex. This is a normal reflex for infant up to 4 months; however, it stays with a child beyond 12 months or more if they have cerebral palsy (CP). My son Daniel has that in his earlier years. This is just one of many symptoms he had overcome after he received a proper treatments.
@shiennarose No, this is a primitive reflex present in all children, usually disappearing by age 4-6 months. It is part of routine pediatric examination and is used to assess central nervous system - specifically the vestibular nuclei of the brainstem
