I read the below given comments, Iam really supprised to read critics about the naatiaya peroli Badhmini means the the enlight of dance., It is not not because of lack of stamina that badmini fainted, being a filim song the it was directed in that way wat the story needs. i hate to read un healthy comments concerning these two of my legendary super lady indian dancers of my mothers generation, they are wondeful ,fabulous,marvelous,graceful dancers,my mother regrets that there is no one can perform fantastic skillful dancing like the nowadays. god bless their parents.

But whereas the dancing is every bit up to my expectations, what GODAWFUL music..! No wonder C.Ramchandra disappeared from the Bollywood scene by the 1960s - altho' he blames a certain somebody for this in his autobiography...!

Further, the tune made for tamil song, probably lyrics written for tune, in my opinion did not synch well
@kvivekanandan I agree; I think the more resonant and mature voice of Leela runs with it. "Aaru perukivarin Anai Kattalaahum" phrase literally flows in with full throated glory. Comapred to that Sudha Malhotra's voice sounds weak; especially, for a woman battling her rival. Though Jikki's hard enunciation of Tamil words is not pleasant to me, I do think her voice suits the mood better. (I generally like Asha though!:)

these two great fabulous and graceful dancers will never be replaced by any indian, yet to be born. i had viewed other dancers but in my opinion padmini and vyjayanthi are superb thanks to their parents.
It great to have dancer like Padmini who truly dance well. Nowaday in Hindi movies, dances are very sad and not even classical dances. She has made Kerala truly proud.
Thanks for this great upload. Coming generations of dancers will be greately benefitted by this if they truly intend to acquire the dancing skills that great Vaijayantimala, Padmini and Ragini have.

I have seen this dance in the Tamil Version and have enjoyed it very much but since I don't know Tamil and speak Hindi/Urdu very well, I have thoroughly enjoyed this Version even more. Both Ladies are true masters of this beautiful art and they dance beautifully to the Music regardless of the Language. For me it was more enjoyable since I could understand what they were saying to each other. Thanks again for this upload.

Padmini looks more beautiful as well. I can't compare dances as they are different forms altogether adn Vaijayanti is portrayed as a vamp here.
