  • I think they should indicate what effects they use in their demo, it always sounds awesome!

  • @alexstrat No effects other than a Gibson 335 played through a Cornford amp.

  • @diegodelavega9 Thanks! Cornford are awesome amps!

  • How to do that lick ? 0:53 - 1:03 it sound freaking rock n rollish ;D

  • REALLY GOOD!

  • omg me and him got the excact style of playing

  • If Aynsley, had played that good in sixties,he would have been the second best Guitarist in the WORLD! Exellent. Peter Green being first of course.

  • FUCK thats a bitchin tone !!!!!!!!

  • This was awesome !!

  • His phrasing is amazing and that's what makes him stand apart. Like they say, its not what you play, but how you play it and Aynsley plays it REAL GOOD! I do not understand why he is not huge in the U.S. other than exposure.

  • @skeezrus Cuz in US young ppl listend stuff like Linking Park which destroy the good music and they lost their feeling of music.

  • wish I was you !!!

  • Where did donnie darko learn to play guitar so well?

  • god Damn i love the blues, lol

  • Brutal skills

  • helps to play this good when you have such screaming tone!

  • this is amazing a lot srv influence .....

  • @beefsupreme420 you prefer alex and guthrie, but I prefer Aynsley hands down. BUT alex and guthrie are totaly AMAZING any day of the week. If we all liked the same thing life would be boring, but I love this guys playing, mainly because it is what I am trying to draw inspiration from!

  • Love his facial expressions, he looks like a pained emo kid but his music is very good. I'll stick with Guthrie Govan and Alex Hutchings though.

  • this guys much better than the other dude under this youtube name...this is sexy material here man

  • This rig sounds amazing.

    Wattamadafaka!!!

  • The boy is good, nearly Clapton

  • THIS IS A BLUES SOLO....

  • I'm off to see him tonight @ The Duchess in York - I'm really excited now!!!

  • Going to see him tomorrow at The Caves in Edinburgh! Can't wait, this guy owns!

  • @robgrobg666 u call that not creative.. dude u seem to know very little about music even if u play guitar urself..

  • very clapton-like...awesome

  • yeah ot really sounds like clapton

  • well dona mate!! nice job catchin' up the blues!!

  • Has the future guitar

  • Maaaan you are fukin great !!! since the first note you grabbed me !! i admire your work. Stay cool and enjoy the people. Want to see you on the big stage.

  • Hes coming to Oxford in November! :)

  • Just amazing, get to see the Aynsley Lister band if you get chance! The NEW JH

  • Bella zio! stai a gode!

  • fcking amazing dude!!!

  • Fuck man you made me laugh, your a great player as well as expression artist with ya face looking around the room you reminded me of a young George Thoughougood rock on bud !

    Keep taking the piss it works for me ! ; }

  • 1:05 best bend ever!!!

  • great playing! Was fixated on that guitar. What kind is it?

  • A gibson ES-339 or ES-347. not completly sure, but it does have as big a body as a 335, as far as I can tell.

  • He's good. Love the sound. You look quite young aswell...

  • because you have that attitude i can promise you you will never reach your potential as a guitarist. guitar playing isn't a competition. its an expression, a discipline, to a certain extent a grasp of skill and a constant search for advancement of musical technicalities. by the looks of your profile and your comments your someone who just goes around posting on videos you don't appreciate. stop being so close minded about music and get out from behind your computer, its turning you into a jerk.

  • that might be what guitar is to you but to me its a hell of alot more. and the guitarists that are famous and have made it have that edge, that's why there known for what they do. i post videos on youtube because its a communications website and i want to share my music with the world in hope that it gives people the same enjoyment it gives me when i play it. music is NEVER about being cocky. when it is it looses all its credibility. its expression that comes from the heart.

  • shut up =)

    cheers.

  • wise words my friend! both post summarized the actual tasks of youtube and music!

  • go see aynsley wherever you can, i saw him in a small pub coupla years back, totally blew my mind. great tunes played by a great artist (and the band were great too....!)

  • Great sound you got there.

    and great playing also.

  • cazzo se è bravo!

  • He looks a bit like Matt Dylan...

    haha.

  • ok 1st...go practice until you can burn this guy where he sits then when you have reached that level..now comes the hard part....shut the fuck up and let people enjoy watching and listening to a person who seems to be really enjoying what hes doingand in turn puts a grin on my face and as like always i make the stupid mistake of casting my eyes on the comments and walla...ignornce fear and jelousy all waiting to opine on his playing..

  • That tone over a blues track?

    ZZZzzz

  • to daycron66 why listen if you don't like it? And where is your video? Why waste your time being negative?

  • great...

  • I wish I could play like him....original or not original..lol

  • hokay, i'm just gonna say it... he's good, but a little overrated. WAY too much pentatonic/blues scale stuff. good for a while, but come on, SRV used Dorian and Mixolydian quite a bit...

  • Well, forgive him from playing in his own style, you dipshit.

  • he's NOT playing in his own style... that's what i am trying to say. try coming up with something different from the blues that has been around for the last 80 years... i love this stuff, but come on. i know it's hard, but you don't have to call me a dipshit about it man. i mean, realistically, how many times does he repeat a few of those licks in this one solo?

  • This is just how he likes to play. It sounds awesome and he loves to do it.

Have you considered the fact that this is entirely improvised?

  • Yeah, but you can still improvise and be overly redundant... i'm not saying that it's bad by any means; he's got great touch and tone, it's just i feel he should branch his playing out instead of staying within the pentatonic and blues scales.

  • He likes playing this way and it's awesome to hear. It's arrogant to tell a great guitarist how to play.

  • i don't think it's arrogant to have an opinion like that man. it sounds good; i'm not denying that at all. as a future reference, though, he should expand his vocabulary. he would probably even be one of the first people to say that.

  • You didn't post it like an opinion. You posted it like you were telling him how he should play his solos, when he clearly already knows what he is doing.

  • reread the comment man... it's definitely an opinion. just like you thinking i'm a dipshit is an opinion.

  • It was an opinion, but it was voiced like it was a fact.

  • i just feel that he's limiting himself. he should open up more. then he'll be more widely respected. sorry if i came off as being a bit elitist.

  • what is original exactly? :-) He's obviously playing from his heart and isn't that music is about? As for repeating licks and being derivative...um isn't that part of the blues style? At the end of the day it's what moves you. If you like to listen to Britney Spears or invade countries stealing what they've got and call it patriotism and democracy. That's your bag.

  • but thats what he is meant to be doing....

go and see him live.. he is not just a blues player....

  • man ı love that guitar and he is playing that guitar like she deservs (yes she):D

  • Damn Rinaldo can play.lol. Can you teach Govan how to feel music.

  • Oh my...but you are absolutley wonderful. Love it...Love it...Love it.

  • what guitar is that? looks like some kind of 336 copy, sounds great whatever it is.

  • It's a real Gibson! I have one of this guys albums from like 10 years ago he's fucking mustard!!

  • i think thats the new es-339 but i'm not sure. it's semi hollow in a smaller size

  • look at his web site, tells you what it is...

  • That's good stuff right there.

  • Amazing. Just. Amazing

  • pento prison!

  • Cornford Hellcat puts out a killer tone...

  • Definetly been chopping to that progression way too long!

  • He doesnt miss any passion, see him live. you cant get passion over cheesy backing tracks. Incredible blues player.

  • VERYY NICE

  • great!!!

what kind of effects he use for such sound?

  • soul, feeling, emotion, and a cable.

  • @guitarz333 soul, feeling, emotion and a cable modem! :) Nice playing!

  • @guitarz333 Don't forget the guitar and an amp.

  • This guy Rock it!!

  • There is NOTHING Buddy Guy like about this clip nothing. Its more like Walter Trout or something. Hes good but Not Buddy Guy like.

  • The BACKING TRACK is Buddy Guy like. His phrasing is HIS style. He is not trying to play like Buddy Guy.

  • This guy is really great, no doubt, but he is missing a little bit of passion it seems. It doesn' sound like his soul is bleeding.

  • agree that he is missing the passion in his playing but still good though. :)

  • Buf! Que bueno! El principio es la ostia e!

  • Very Coollllllllllllllll Amazingggggg

    Gibson Rulz ! :))))

  • YHEAAAAAAAAAAAA Buddy is one of my favorite cause he use some of those subtle bends whit the index finger. You play very clean and the sound is very ''buddY'' absolutely one of the best blues jam heard on youtube

  • I don't know.... kind of makes me want to give up playing listening to this guy.... But I'll keep on tryin. Love it too much.

  • I love Aynsley...he's such a nice guy :)

  • very cool

  • I like this bluestone, great

  • HOT

  • awesome

  • Great - and where does he get the backing tracks???

  • Go to bluesjamtracks dot com. I've bought loads of backing tracks. Really good value, high quality and loads of freebies too.

  • It's a Cornford Hellcat.

  • How do you get that great tone? What amp is that? Very tasty!

  • ~This is great....~~

  • I chatted to Aynsley in Copenhagen. The guy is so modest, but so much talent. He almost outplayed Walter Trout. I would love to see Aynsley and Joe Bonamassa on stage together.

  • amazing

  • these ppl have weird names

  • AMAZING playing dude.

but you look so scared when you play hehe.

i supose everyone pulls faces when they play:D

    nice work man

  • go aynsley.....
