Great video and sound track David!! I've never done a recumbent race before but after seeing this I'm inspired to take part in Cycle Vision 2011! Thanks for posting.
Awesome video David. A speedy Mango point of view on miracle Cure music (one of my favourites). Thanks for drawing attention to your video channel this afternoon!

hi I am the wobbly bloke on the M5 high racer who drafted you for a while. Interesting insig t it never feels like I'm wobbing that much when I'm riding.
@mbeyst Hi Martin, good to hear from you. You featured quite a lot in the raw video. I guess in the first part of the race (the battery only lasted for an hour and a half) I was just the right speed for you.
@HLaB75 Indeed, but that wasn't enough for first place. The winner did 322.5 km - an average of 53.6 km/h ( 33.3 mph ) for the six hours. You can see him go past me at 9:46 in the video.
That's a good angle, not too much sky and enough road. The track is wide and has no sharp corners, looks great. The guy in the red and white 'Kuifje' (Tintin) bike at 9:20 is David Verbroeken (I think).
Yesterday it rained.. I had to ride 15 miles and then back the same 15. I rode my Dutch bike, with German lights wearing an English cycling rain cape.. The rain was heavy and the wind gusted upto 15mph. At the end of the 30 miles I was soaked.. Even though I enjoyed the ride, all I could think about is having a velomobile....
@cyclenut I've been riding exactly the same Mango to work this week, through rain. I know just what you mean. It makes a huge difference to be out of it.

@DavidHembrow Very Cool. I guess it was destined that they would be riding a "bent" with a name like that.
I've just watched your video twice. Awesome footage and awesome music. I'm going to have to listen to more of the Cure.

That was a fantastic video! To see how Lee passed you and then to see Ymte, Daniel and Wulf go by, it was spine tingling.
Just trying to think of riding like you did for 6 hours makes my mind spin.
Great Job. On the track and with the video.
