Revelations does this sort of nonsense all the time... I spent half a match stuck in a kill animation today, unable to kill or get killed, but very able to troll everybody by dropping Smoke and Mute. Sigh.

I love how when you play new people in assassinate it is REALLY easy, when you play gutsy people in assassinate it is really like holy poop sh1t went down, then you face the runners... (commits suicide) lets just say I hate it whenever you play people who run away from you in fear. (Matches with LadyKresnik the other night wore me out, like games with ManicDragonfang - so fast paced!) It's when they just run at you in a circle and throw smoke over and over it gets a bit boring and I end up roofing :/

I personally like the RDR because stealth is awesome and more rewarding and actually takes skill and planning to get high point kills, but I agree with shenmue about assassinate; the RDR doesn't work well for a mode like that because then all you get is running and discreet kills at best.

Yeah of course you can't pick I get that I'm not retarded but from brotherhood that was always how it was with you guys, especially shenmue who thinks he is so awesome of a player in assassinate and I've seen him play and not impressed, and even in ACR I still run into a lot of good players there's even friends I create a session for assassinate with because noobs are way to easy.

@UnchartedG I'm not pretentious enough to say I'll only play with friends and not the "little people" :/ I just hit play. If you want to get into leaderboard malarkey, a lot of the so-called top players have me on their FLs or as a preferred player. So I DO end up in games with them.

People don't normally put up the matches where they do really badly, not because they don't want to admit they ever lose, but because what's the point of watching someone have a bad match?

From the looks of it, this game mode is very much assassins creed. More like when you go full offensive in the storymode than when you sneak around in the storymode, but both of those are important parts. It looks very exciting.

Assassinate, a runners paradise lol. My only problem with Assassinate is when I lock onto my target, I quickly think "Oh fuck I locked on the wrong person" and unlock them, then relock them but they lock onto me and kill me -.- I get to freaked out on it lol

the mute didn't screw, you should know that there's a small delay. you can't run towards your target, mute last second and expect for it to work.

@tsubasanakagawa No, in Revelations your target can stun you for quite a while after you poison them. So to stop that happening, in Assassinate, you need to unlock as quickly as you can after poisoning.

Amusingly I stunned someone last night, focus poisoned them, unlocked, they locked me and I stunned them again before they died XD

You did this on a netbook? There should be some kind of achievement for that! Totally agree with you about RDM, it doesn't encourage stealthy play as it doesn't adequately reward stealthy players whereas the discreet kill spamming players carry on as they did before...

@TheShenmue36 God I know right... Mute is fucking bugged a little bit. Had a match where 5 of my mutes failed to actually mute my pursuer and I ended up getting killed with no Honorable Death. Really pissed me off.

Because all of us have had experiences where Mute fails there and yet I have been pulled out of a kill animation by a late Mute before. Which is complete ass. Mute is still worth using because it works a decent amount of the time and results in easy stun kills.
