  • I presume that the 9mm works on a .380 does it not?

  • Why are these so expensive?

  • I like the system becuase it allows you to do more effective dry firing. don't have one yet, but I do have several other of your products, and they are all high quality.

  • I got one of these with the target system and really like it. My EDC gun is a Beretta so it's a great tool for a DA trigger (it's also a bit nicer not having to reset the firing pin, as opposed to my Glock). Using this system with a shot timer can really improve your firing from holster, point-shooting, etc.

  • If anyone is curious, you can buy a training trigger reset kit for Glocks. I'm not sure about other firearms. That way, you don't have to pull the slide back each time.

  • how does the caliber specific cartridge effect the extractor? how does it avoid damaging the extractor? i have the LT-Pro but would also be interested in this as long as i know the extractor will remain unaffected

  • @ivywood16 The "cartridge" appears to be rimless, so the extractor doesn't contact it. That's why you have to remove it with a rod. It also wouldn't make much sense for it to work with the extractor since it would be pulled out of the chamber everytime you cock the gun on a SA.

  • Now make the laser affected by drag and bullet drop!

  • Darn.. I just purchased an LT-Pro. This seems to fit my bill better because for whatever reason, the LT-Pro never stays put in my 9mm Sig no matter how much I adjusted it. Worked fine in the USP 40 I owned though.

On a side note, does this work in conjunction with a snap cap? Can't tell from the video but it looks like the laser goes into the barrel and not in chamber. I have some older guns that require a snap cap to dry fire if I don't want to mess up the firing pin.

  • @radslug

I just purchased the LT-40 which is the 40s&w version. This Cartridge version also functions as the snap cap, although you do not load it via the magazine. You manually putting the cartridge in the tube. The laser fires when the firing pin hits the back of the cartridge just like a snap cap. Had mine for only 4 days but it works like a charm. no accidentaly flashes. It's basically dry firing with a visible indicator. Really helps a lot.

  • No constant on mode. But you could always buy a Cabelas brand pistol laser bore tool?

  • No constant on mode.

  • Does this have a "constant on mode"? that would be nice..
