It's fake. Content aware is very good and sometimes even this good, but try pause at 0:15, right after he dissapears. Look at the wall that has been revealed and press play, it fades to become different, which doesn't happen with real content aware fill

@raspabas i think he edited it and displaced parts of the wall in the content aware area to look more natural, he just didn't show that part.... you can see some features of the stones are moved to the left or right after it fades away... keep on replaying it from 0:15 and you'll see what i mean

@raspabas It's using reduced steps. This is taken from a video by Terry White (I think). I've seen the whole thing. There's a few more things to do to get the best result, and the full video shows this. This is just a simplified mock up to fit into a more advert like video.

Content Aware is very good I have used it myself in a tutorial.... but it is not perfect sometimes it does not work at all and requires a lot of clean up.

Content-Aware is amazing, but this is a fake and here's how they did it...they took an image of a wall and put the guy there first on another layer on top, then shot the video removing him. That stonework is 100% perfect at the end...and its not perfect when you use content-aware although its amazingly good and saves you a huge amount of time.

you know what i don't like? that you actually erased (or hid) the layer with the guy at the end, and that's why it looks so perfect. If I pause to 0:16 and take a good lock and than pause at 0:18 I can see the wall is totally changed where the selection was made. It is a really great tool, but don't overpower it.

@famous10000 the content aware fill doesnt work all the time. it only works if the background of the object u are trying to delete from the photo has enough pattern for photoshop to read. u will just have to do ur best and do it manually.

Using CS5 at the moment, it's not actually that good if the area you're trying to remove and content fill is variated, it's fine for consistent stuff like that rock wall. Like removing a person in front of a horizon as a quick example. There might be a way to give it hints as to what it should sample from, but I haven't found anything yet.
