Then Twilight Sparkle wouldn't have anything to write about that week which would move her breakdown up from season two and deny us a dozen pony episodes.
Haha, in the original version of the script, it wasn't Apple-bucking, but Apple-bumping (as in they hit the trees with their heads to make the apples fall down). And that was the original reason for Applejack's deteriorating condition: head trauma, instead of exhaustion. XD
@videogamer810 Well it's typically 22 minute episodes and if they eliminate the problem in the first 5 minutes of the show they have to spend the time somewhere!
@tehredmage Well, if you want to get technical, it's a re-imagining, as a major detail was changed which directly affected the outcome of the story. Abridging is really just taking out extra detail which may drive a point home or provide entertainment, but leaving in the meat and potatoes of the story so that nothing different really happens. Either case, I understand what you mean.
why do the top comments have more likes than the actual video?

Then again, it'd probably be a bit Mary-Sueish.

You skipped 20 minutes of a MLP:FiM episode.
I'd call that barbaric.

Why did Applejack have to walk all the way to Rarity's place to ponder Big Mac's statement? It seems somewhat unnecessary and overly time-consuming.
videogamer810 7 months ago 269
@videogamer810 She figured Rarity's prissy attention to detail would help her iron out Big Mac's fancy mathematical calculations.

@videogamer810 She had to figure out Big Macs fancy mathematics first.

@videogamer810 She was thinking about her situation, and Rarity would probably have been the first pony she'd ask.
