  • Very good ;)

  • it sounds really cute :D

  • Hello :)

I like this music - it's superb (nostalgia:) - please give me name this musicpack or link were I may download this??? Greetings

  • does this melody belong to an Amstrad CPC game?

  • Wow that's awesome, I have those very same songs on my computer somewhere as YM files, but hearing it play back on the original hardware is soooooooooo much cooler than using an emulator, i wish i could do that.

  • this is nice, we need more like this, adds diversity because most videos out there are about the C64

  • I have almost the same setup to you but i dont know how to get the amstrad to read the 3.5inch floppy drive, i plug it in and i know its right as i brought it with the drive and lead but dont know what commands i should use, i also have a mouse and dot matrix printer but wouldnt even begin to know what do with them lol...

  • Is that the original monitor? If yes, what's the thing sitting under it?

  • @VintageJunior Yes it is. The thing under it is the Amstrad "MP3" add on which allows you to watch TV on your Amstrad Monitor!

  • @retrozoneorg Until very recently... when analog tv dissapeared¡¡¡!!!

  • @VintageJunior, I think the CPC's powersupplies were built into the monitors so you always had to use the original monitor's with most of the CPC line.

  • How did you connect the 3.5" disk drive to the amstrad? i could do with doing that myself :)

  • The information on how to connect a Floppy Disk drive to the CPC6128 is on my website in the projects section.

Google "fit a 3.5" floppy to CPC6128" and click the third link down

  • damn...I wish there was a PC App to play .YM....

looks like ya gotta have the real thing in this case

  • Google for "ZX Spectrum Sound Chip Emulator" - this can play .YM (and a load of other formats) on a PC. Don't be fooled by the name - the Amstrad uses the same sound chip as the ZX Spectrum :-)

  • that's a nice setup you got there... what tapecorder do you use? i just have a stupid walkman :(

  • Just one of the old style cassette players - needs to have a "REM" socket to work with the Amstrad. You can pick them up for £5-6 on ebay. Just search for cassette player.

  • @retrozoneorg Yes!!! a REM socket... I had completely forgotten the existence of that... Far back in my childhood...

  • does it sound better coming through the original system?

  • No.. Not really.

I just like to keep my Amstrad busy ;)

  • ha ha ha awesome

  • ¿De qué juegos son esas canciones?

  • I love Amstrad sounds!!
