  • Great video. Eggs are great. They had a bad rap. Dr. Oz says they won't raise your LDC levels if you're worried about cholesteral. They're full of Omega 3. You get 6 grams of protein in one large egg.

  • I lost 40 lbs eating these foods and working out 3 to 5 times a week in about 3.5 months. Cut out the sugar!! It works. I actually take a fiber supplement as well.

  • I don't think there is a certain type of food that burns fat at all. This "magic bullet" mentality is really screwing everyone up. I've seen before/after pics of people who simply drop eating processed foods and lose like 130 pounds. They look like totally different people its insane! I read an article on how this mentality is fuckin killing us. its a good wake up call google 'yourfitassist' n its the first article

  • 1 small serving of fruit is as most you shuld intake. Fruit has lots of sugar, which is a simple carb. This turns to fat directly, and prevents you from burning fat alrady stored. It's basically a stall. But a small serving is good for you, especially with all the nutrients/antioxidants it provides. However, I prefer a multi vitamin to just take care of that, that way the rest of my day I just have to concentrate on having an intake of lots of protein in under 6 small portioned meals.

  • i.e. 1 jumbo egg white alone has 19 calories, and still has 4g protein, the egg yoke in a jumbo egg is 51 calories, and has 4.5g of fat, all of it being saturated. I totally agree on the yogurt thing, I eat Chobani plain. But this is more of a fat loss meal plan. If your a person that lifts weights, then I would not find these foods appropriate for gaining muscle, perhaps tone. The only food here that contributes to muscle building is the eggs. PM me for any sort of fitness/body building advice.

  • I don't like this at all. Lots of these foods are just simple carbohydrate - Carb is the nutrient that prevents you from burning fat, you burn carb before your fat as storage, less intake of carb, means you can burn more fat in your interior, not just what's is your belly. Also with the eggs, you must be sure to take the yoke out. Egg yokes have bad fat, it's all saturated. It has some good vitamins/minerals, but the amount of calories/fat it provides isn't worth the amount of vitamins/minerals.

  • I enjoy you more than that guy Jillian. You should be on T.V., hope you have an agent. Yes I live in L.A. haha...Anyway, good tips, I don't eat yogurt though. Blueberries, EVERYDAY & an apple after workout with protein shake, then a meal later. Seriously, you should be on T.V. Being an X college athlete, current trainer and high school football coach. You till hear lots of bullcrap fads. Nothing beats diet & training everyday.

  • I went on a diet which included egg whites, chicken, spinach raw, water, fruit small portions, tuna fish, vegatables raw, Oatmeal. I worked out  two and a half hours a day for 3 months and went from 165 to 140 pounds. Then I cut another five pounds for a wrestling tournament. But I now weight 185.

  • @nhbmartialarts You over did!! you burned fat while working out but once you stopped your body always does the reverse and burns sugar. Do what is called "burst training" or "Tabata" type in the search box look for drpoompa and hear what he been talking about for years it may be the answer your looking for.

  • This is the example of what a diet does for you. Dieting is an overly strict routine that get's you the body you want for a short period of time. You will have a long term bringe. Preventing this "dieting" would be to have organzined meal plans that include working out. Organized meal plans that get more strict gradually, not cutting to the chase. It's a philosophy and a way of life. You never get off of it like a diet.

  • I see your into MMA, I'm a 7th degree black belt in Brazilian jiu Jitsu, which is pretty much major along with Kineisology. I've been studying the "art" of it since I was 11. I'm now a qualified instructor for it, and had the Naval Academy move me across the USA to fight for them, and attend their school. I also qualified Tae Kwon do, and I'm finished up in judo, which I can hopefully finish before 2015.
