Love the shot of Windrunner Spire in the Qual'Thalas (Ghostlands) as the focus for the song's visual. Nothing I think says it better than to show the place where Sylvannas grew up and what it became at the hands of the Scourge. Secondly, this is the place you get the locket that starts the quest to have her sing the song.

I am always confused by the translation she says "Chidren of the Blood" but they are high elves they became Blood Elves after the fall of Quel Thalas and long after the death of Sylvannas. I AM SO CONFUSED!!!!

@WowFanatic1100 They styled themselves 'blood elves' to honor the slaughter of 90% of their population and the fall of Silvermoon. Only the elves who stayed in silvermoon and started feeding from 'fel' sources kept the name. The rest went to Dalaran and stayed as High Elves, feeding from arcane sources to sate their hunger.

Physically the two 'races' are the same, but the one was just renamed to honor the dead. Sylvannas sings of the Blood Elves because they are the ones still in Silvermoon

The adapted version you sing makes more sense than the translation in my opinion.

"Broken Blood Children - they are breaking through" sounds like she is talking of the fallen fighters who where raised by Arthas to fight against the elves. Since they where raised as scourge after they died, they are the "broken blood children"

I think I can truly say with some certainty, that I like this version better. Sylvanas' version is great; in World of Warcraft. This version could give someone the same feeling they do when playing WoW, when this song is played during something they absolutely love as much as wow players love the game.
