Ron Paul Supports you have to register as a Republican if you are going to vote for him during the primary. This is the election to pick who going to run against Obama so if you are independent or not register to vote you have to register as a Republican but during a general election in November you can remain independent without any party affiliation. I register as a republican so I can vote for Ron Paul.
