The freedom federation are making their claims based on the wrong ideas. Yet I oppose anything that forces people to do something they don't want to with their private property, to include hiring someone they don't wish to, for any reason. It's the right to do what you want with your property (yourself being the one piece of property we're all born with) that means they can't lock you up just for being gay (& believe me that was a hard won court battle). It's a two way street.

I can't, as a business owner, decide that I'm not going to hire any women (they make bad decisions!), Jewish people (they steal!), or Asians (they're sneaky!). This is because gender, religion, and race are protected classes.
@ryuuseicha I know they are and it's not right. If say you weren't going to hire people based on your prejudices you should be allowed to do so, just as I'm allowed to boycott your business. Thank god for at-will employment. At least it's keeping the idea of freedom alive in this country.
