If you look closely, Sylux actually has two eyes, one on each side of the green line. Also, in adventure mode when you scan Sylux you're told Sylux's suit is BASED on a GF prototype suit. Assuming that the GF prototype suit is designed for a male, Sylux may have not have been able to steal the actual suit because it might be a female. Otherwise why would have Sylux stolen the Delano 7 (Sylux's ship) but not the suit? One last thing, does Dark Samus even need a ship?
Note to keep about dark samus: at the end of mp1 metroid prime itself took your phazon suit and if i remember correctly a hand then appeared. jump to mp2 where that outfit dark samus has is actually your phazon suit that metroid prime took so.... dark samus is metroid prime in a new form.

at the end of Metroid Prime Hunters (it plays between Metroid Prime 1 and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes) you see how all hunters can escape from Gorea's (Final Boss) World.

@kyle6082 Beat Omega with second (real) ending. You have to shoot some stuff on the wall. You'll later fight him using the weapon with the Omega sign. Once you kill him, you'll see the big ship exploding. Also, you'll see other six ships come out of the exploding ship/planet.
Remeber people that metroid and metroid prime might be the same in the sense their of the same franchise the metroid prime series is more of a side story of the metroid franchise so after prime 3 it was done and with other m that was a metroid game not a prime game.
I really really want to believe that dark samus was in the ship but sadly she's no more as phazon was eradicated so it has to be sylux or somebody else who's pissed at samus for some reason or another...

well accually you cant be 100 percent sure its syluxes ship as it has not been confirmed and even with phaze destroyed the space pirates may have found a way to preserve some and if there is even the tinyist partical of phazon in the galaxy dark samuswho in theroy couldhave been alive in a partical state and found some to absorb some phazon particals but no one can be 100 percent sure yet
I hope Retro Studios works at the right thing at this time. I mean Metroid Prime 4: Origin. With the true Origin of Phazon - The Red Phazon. Phazon Sun.

@MarioMetroidFan It is because he (she? it?) is the only hunter that had an actual grudge against her. If you read up on him, you will see that he not only has something against the federation, but also against Samus personally. it is still unknown why though.

Its Dark Samus, and no, not because it looks like her. It's because in the cutscene itself you hear HER LAUGH as the ship takes off. It's the same laugh that she has in both prime 2 and 3.
Sylux isn't owned by Retro Studios anyway, they can't legally use him.
Doubt it is Dark Samus. If anything, It could be a whole new Space Pirate. Dark Samus is actually dead now. In the first game she was born from Metroid Primes Phazon and Samus's Phazon suit. Prime 2 you think you destroyed her but her molecules were just disintegrated, and she pulled herself back together, until you overloaded her with Phazon in Prime 3 she wasn't actually fully killed. So I wouldn't say it is Dark Samus.
@MrThetronica Dark samus survived from an explosion of a planet between dimensions...she could have survived the explosion of the Phaze planet. Besides that ship is is definetely dark samus head but you are just looking at the back of the ship in that picture...As we know another M is before Metroid fusion so Nintendo doesn't have more ideas to put another metroid game so they need Dark samus.
@XxOrochimaruX Says who. There is always ways to add story inbetween the games. I have played all of them, and there seems to be holes in the story, areas where more story can be added. I see more games coming out. Until we see the next game we may not know. The only way to kill dark samus was to over load her with Phazon, The explosion didn't kill dark samus in the first place. the Light Suit caused a dispersion of the phase partials which separated from dark samus.
upon which when, Aether was no longer supportive of any Dark/Phaze for Dark Samus to live on it pulled itself together outside of the world in an area where it could survive, and moved on to building or finding Phaze. That is my perception of the Echoes and Corruption. For all we know Dark Samus is dead, Maybe I am wrong, but I am just speculating the story so far.
@MrThetronica Well Dark Samus somehow is dead alright; However, people seem to mistake the ship saw in the secret Prime 3 ending for the one that Silux uses which has some resemblance...but it is not the same ship at all if you closely see the ship it resembles like a Dark Samus's face and it even looks in some way like th ship samu's uses on Fusion. However we can only see the back of the ship in prime 3 but look at the frontal part it looks like Dark samu's helmet so "maybe ain't dead" maybe..
@XxOrochimaruX Hunters had terrible graphics. This could very well be the Delano 7 with updated graphics. However, it is extremely unlikely or impossible that it is any version of Samus' Fusion ship. As for Dark Samus being alive, that's impossible as well. Not only did Dark Samus explode along with AU 313, all of Phaze exploded. Stop acting like there was a chance Dark Samus survived.
@vommack There is a chance, remember back in dark aether in Prime 2 there was phazon and the planet exploded with a (weaker and unstable dark samus) and she survived even though the explosion was inside a dimension she somehow revived, and no matter how bad the graphics of hunter looks like the CG Silux Ship is way different from the one showed in prime 3 besides what you see in prime 3 is the back of the ship and ain't the same, so there's a posibility
@XxOrochimaruX Dark Samus survived in Prime 2 because she was brought down in a form of raw phazon. A Pirate Data reveals that she revived herself while that particular phazon was being transported. And, when the ship's wings fold in just before it warps, it has an uncanny resemblance to the Delano-7.
@vommack That's odd considering the revived herself in outer space rather than a Phazon container maybe that's a lil bit contradictory, anyways I think that maybe there's a possibility something or someone revived her at the end of prime 3, knowing that the metroid series doesn't have another game to fit the story line maybe they'll do a prime 4 which could take place after metroid fusion or something.

@XxOrochimaruX Sorry, but that is impossible. The Prime trilogy obviously gets its name from the creature, Metroid Prime. Since Dark Samus is a kind of reincarnation OF Metroid Prime, they are both purely Phazon based lifeforms, and after the destruction of Phaze, all phazon ceased to exist. Therefore, Dark Samus cannot revive, and died once and for all. To make a Metroid Prime 4, there would have to be Phazon involved.
@XxOrochimaruX The ship looks almost exactly like the Delano-7 first of all, and secondly, it is probably just an upgraded version of it. I mean, just look at Samus' ship. It constantly changes its appearance!
@XxOrochimaruX It is true that she survived an explosion of a planet before, however when Phaze exploded, it caused all of the universe's phazon to disappear. Since Dark Samus is 100% phazon based organism (it says so in her scan data) she would not be able to survive this. It is not the explosion that would kill her, but the end of phazon.

guys it's no big question dark samus appears in every prime 100% ending *yes she is in prime 1's 100 ending* so it pretty much has to be dark samus's ship.
Everyone seems to assume its an enemy of Samus, but for all we know, its an ally who's been studying Samus, unsure whether to try to communicate or not, but still stays close to examine her and possibly help her. We dont know how long its really been following her, so say, hypothetically, it has been since Prime 1, then why wouldnt it have attacked? Most humanoid enemies in Metroid seem to think theyre superior to Samus and try to eliminate her immediately.

@balexsv93 I remember one of the logs on the Pirate Homeworld mentioned Dark Samus using Ridley to travel between planets. You kill Ridley (at least temporarily) so she would need a ship.

@Lokkii64 That is my point. Sylux isn't from the Prime trilogy, just from another company that used Prime in the title. It has nothing to do with the other games. Retro Studios doesn't even have the legal rights to use Sylux or his ship, so we are left with it being one of the final characters of the Prime Trilogy. Somehow I don't think an Aurora Unit can fit in that thing. Dark Samus is likely the owner of the ship, unless that thing is just an abandoned ship stalking Samus on auto-pilot.
my friend has a theory that its just supposed to represent how she's always finding trouble, and the ship itself is just to tease us (because its not like they havent done that before).

@Ninja1611 I'm well aware of that (I've beaten all 4 Prime games 100%), but like the ending of MP3, it was just meant as a teaser. They didn't intend to make a story on that. Later on they decided to build on it and name it Dark Samus, but that wasn't the original plan.
I think it's supposed to suggest Dark Samus is actually alive, but it's just there to tease you, just like in Metroid Prime. Metroid Prime wasn't developed to be part of a trilogy. They had no intention of creating the character Dark Samus. Metroid Prime was such a hit that they decided to build on that ending and create a new story.

Dark Samus was created from when the leviathan[Metroid Prime] of Tallon IV stole the phazon suit from Samus. So Dark Samus was also a leviathan not directly from the planet Phaaze. It is an entity so infuzed with phazon that it can travel anywhere by dispersing itself into paritcles of phazon and float everywhere. So Dark Samus has no ship.
You know why other m is called that.Because other m mean other mother brain.That place creates bio weapons and they made new metriods also from samus' last mission.At first whhen you buy it you don't know any thing but when you finish the game you almost know everything.So when they say other m it is like a mystery and you have to find out.

I don't buy that DS died at the end of MP3 and believe that it made a copy of Samus' ship before Phaaze exploded. Therefore, I will argue that the mysterious ship is indeed that of DS.

Gorea didn't kill them, only absorb enough of their health to regain it's power, if you do gorea phase 2 you'll see ALL their ships fly away from oubliette.
#1 dark samus doesn't need a ship because she can fly and teleport and #2 it is Sylux's ship just different graphics

well accually you cant be 100 percent sure its syluxes ship as it has not been confirmed and even with phaze destroyed the space pirates may have found a way to preserve some and if there is even the tinyist partical of phazon in the galaxy dark samuswho in theroy couldhave been alive in a partical state and found some to absorb some phazon particals but no one can be 100 percent sure yet

@LiveitRivet920 While it is true the Dark Samus is the byproduct of Metroid Prime and Samus' Phazon Suit fused together into one life-form, dont forget that she (or it) is 100% Phazon Based, as is Metroid Prime (just read their scan logs). So now the Phazon no longer exists, nothing could comprise the life force of Dark Samus (which is also why she has not appeared in titles that chronologically take place after the Prime games)

Due to her genetic structure, which is 100% phazon based, she would have faded away with the rest of the phazon in the universe. remember, the destruction of phaze meant the the end of phazon everywhere.

Doubt it is Dark Samus. If anything, It could be a whole new Space Pirate. Dark Samus is actually dead now. In the first game she was born from Metroid Primes Phazon and Samus's Phazon suit. Prime 2 you think you destroyed her but her molecules were just disintegrated, and she pulled herself back together, until you overloaded her with Phazon in Prime 3 she wasn't actually fully killed. So I wouldn't say it is Dark Samus.

Besides that ship is is definetely dark samus head but you are just looking at the back of the ship in that picture...As we know another M is before Metroid fusion so Nintendo doesn't have more ideas to put another metroid game so they need Dark samus.

I see more games coming out. Until we see the next game we may not know. The only way to kill dark samus was to over load her with Phazon, The explosion didn't kill dark samus in the first place. the Light Suit caused a dispersion of the phase partials which separated from dark samus.

upon which when, Aether was no longer supportive of any Dark/Phaze for Dark Samus to live on it pulled itself together outside of the world in an area where it could survive, and moved on to building or finding Phaze. That is my perception of the Echoes and Corruption. For all we know Dark Samus is dead, Maybe I am wrong, but I am just speculating the story so far.

@MrThetronica Well Dark Samus somehow is dead alright; However, people seem to mistake the ship saw in the secret Prime 3 ending for the one that Silux uses which has some resemblance...but it is not the same ship at all if you closely see the ship it resembles like a Dark Samus's face and it even looks in some way like th ship samu's uses on Fusion. However we can only see the back of the ship in prime 3 but look at the frontal part it looks like Dark samu's helmet so "maybe ain't dead" maybe..

@XxOrochimaruX Hunters had terrible graphics. This could very well be the Delano 7 with updated graphics. However, it is extremely unlikely or impossible that it is any version of Samus' Fusion ship. As for Dark Samus being alive, that's impossible as well. Not only did Dark Samus explode along with AU 313, all of Phaze exploded. Stop acting like there was a chance Dark Samus survived.

@vommack There is a chance, remember back in dark aether in Prime 2 there was phazon and the planet exploded with a (weaker and unstable dark samus) and she survived even though the explosion was inside a dimension she somehow revived, and no matter how bad the graphics of hunter looks like the CG Silux Ship is way different from the one showed in prime 3 besides what you see in prime 3 is the back of the ship and ain't the same, so there's a posibility

And, when the ship's wings fold in just before it warps, it has an uncanny resemblance to the Delano-7.

@XxOrochimaruX Sorry, but that is impossible. The Prime trilogy obviously gets its name from the creature, Metroid Prime. Since Dark Samus is a kind of reincarnation OF Metroid Prime, they are both purely Phazon based lifeforms, and after the destruction of Phaze, all phazon ceased to exist. Therefore, Dark Samus cannot revive, and died once and for all. To make a Metroid Prime 4, there would have to be Phazon involved.

Since Dark Samus is 100% phazon based organism (it says so in her scan data) she would not be able to survive this. It is not the explosion that would kill her, but the end of phazon.

Everyone seems to assume its an enemy of Samus, but for all we know, its an ally who's been studying Samus, unsure whether to try to communicate or not, but still stays close to examine her and possibly help her. We dont know how long its really been following her, so say, hypothetically, it has been since Prime 1, then why wouldnt it have attacked? Most humanoid enemies in Metroid seem to think theyre superior to Samus and try to eliminate her immediately.

@Lokkii64 That is my point. Sylux isn't from the Prime trilogy, just from another company that used Prime in the title. It has nothing to do with the other games. Retro Studios doesn't even have the legal rights to use Sylux or his ship, so we are left with it being one of the final characters of the Prime Trilogy. Somehow I don't think an Aurora Unit can fit in that thing. Dark Samus is likely the owner of the ship, unless that thing is just an abandoned ship stalking Samus on auto-pilot.

I think it's supposed to suggest Dark Samus is actually alive, but it's just there to tease you, just like in Metroid Prime. Metroid Prime wasn't developed to be part of a trilogy. They had no intention of creating the character Dark Samus. Metroid Prime was such a hit that they decided to build on that ending and create a new story.
People keep saying "Dark Samus is dead!", but just because they think she is dead that doesn't mean it's true. Ridley was "dead" like 4 billion times.

And the spread of metroid are very quickle. That means if there is a way for dark samus, Mother brain, space pirates or somebody something that they can make new metroids.
And there is always a way for Dark Samus to make new metroids.

Dark Samus was created from when the leviathan[Metroid Prime] of Tallon IV stole the phazon suit from Samus. So Dark Samus was also a leviathan not directly from the planet Phaaze. It is an entity so infuzed with phazon that it can travel anywhere by dispersing itself into paritcles of phazon and float everywhere. So Dark Samus has no ship.

I didn't play Metroid Hunters, so I wouldn't know but did Sylux's ship do that crazy warpy stretching elastic thing when it launches in Hunters? I agree with builderman1q2w3e4r, DS didn't have a ship, or at least not that we know of...

I don't buy that DS died at the end of MP3 and believe that it made a copy of Samus' ship before Phaaze exploded. Therefore, I will argue that the mysterious ship is indeed that of DS.

@builderman1q2w3e4r I still don't think it looks like Sylux's ship. Sylux wasn't even a character created by Retro Studios, or part of the Prime Trilogy. It only makes sense that they would create a teaser Dark Samus ship that wasn't supposed to lead anywhere.
