...I started on this playlist to see if I could find some music to use somewhere else. In the end, I could not find anything I was looking for. I just sat and enjoyed this beautiful soundtrack all the way through, lost in the music.
Such wonderful melodies, filled with emotions and magic. Even though I have not played this game, the sheer genius that this OST showcases is stunning. The composer is truly a master at work.
if sega did make shenmue 3 or a re relese with better grapghics do you think thay will market it properly or let it fail like thay did with yakuza i mean releseinf yakuza 3 with content cut was pretty shamefull and anounceing that thay cut content a few days before release it was destind to fail but suprizingly it made it to the top ten sellers in the uk just about but i would say thats well enough to worrent yakuza 4 in the west
@zachthezombie i love both games yakuza can be shenmue dark and grit little brother anytime shenmue open my eyes at first i hate how the first ended but looking back i truly love what the game gave me
Shenmue was and is the most unique gaming experience I've experienced in my life. It didn't follow the same old traditions of North American gaming of 1st person shooters and FF-like RPGs. It was a genre in itself. It had amazing visuals, amazing story-telling, a great free-world navigation, real-time weather it was YEARS ahead of it's time and remains one of the best games to date. It's a crying shame SEGA doesn't see the potential Shenmue has to help its company hit some impressive profits
