As a side note, if the Allies hadn't decided to let the Soviets take Berlin...there wouldn't have been a Battle of Berlin. The only reason the remnants of the SS, and the Volkstrum were still fighting is because they refused to surrender to the Russians.

@thelegend55g the Russians Americans British (big 3) fought the Nazi's there were many more countries on both sides but basically we fought with the Russians until 1949 when the cold war erupted. That is what your friend was referring too. The communist party in Russia has disappeared and the Russian federation stands in its place.

When the Nazis invaded Russia, he was fucking pissed. So the Soviets decided to go in war agaisnt the Nazis.

In the end, the Germans were surrounded by the Americans and the Soviets.

They both destroyed Berlin with artillery, airplanes, tanks, etc.
