i here the word "connect" at the end. and i see a complete curcit. wheres the wireless part? i only know what i learned in 4 grade but doesn't wireless mean a seeable break in the connection but still a connection?
I know how youtube fights get started, so i'm sorry to point out the following: both coils are of the enamel-coated magnetic variety, this cuircut works by an existing principle -iduction coupling, and there is no constant flow of current in the coil of the transmitter. This coil occilates with the help of the capacitor placed in parallel. you would also need a ground and a v+, not a coil, to create a usable charge for the ipod.
its real the waves are electricity and when it hits the second coil it receivs the waves and sends them to the circut that uses a uniq way chang waves back to electiricity
Hey cooblades buddy!! we are also workin on this kind of wireless technology.. it would be so kind of u if u could send me more details on ur project of wireless charger and if possible the circuit diag.. thanks in advance..
actually, i think this is simple. Nikola Tesla thought of the idea and tried it but the reason that it didn't catch on is that the generator went out when he tried it. A million dollars gone to waste, but good job though.
With no intention to be mean, but you are mistaken. It does not generate electricity in any way, it transmits energy with magnetic resonance coupling. It is very different.
exactly it isnt wireless and also it isnt exactly portable its cool for a college science project but it isnt exactly needed expecially since you needed a pc power supply a pc has a pc power supply and it chharges from that too im not trying to insult you its cool and everything it just seems like so much work
Its a prototype. Nothing in the first revision is beautiful. Yes technically it uses wires but that is only because we ran out of time. If we had more time and budget we could have made some circuit boards and reduced the set up dramatically.
Unfortunately for us we switched our project at the last minute and had to design and build the entire project in four days and under $10 dollars. (minus cost of iPod and with some salvaging)
Just keep in mind its just not portable......yet......
For the retards who think this is fake, thnk about an electric toothbrush or a cordless kettle. Water and electricity aren't the best of friends you know, and an open circuit leading to 240volts and 100 amps is very lethal.
Heres an idea, if you dont believe it, cut open your toothbrush charger and have a look, but do it underwater with it plugged into a socket and rid the world of your stupidity and ignorance.
Hehe you got me. This was just a prototype to prove that the theory works. We did plan to make it into a I-pod styled skin, but time and money constrained us.
In the same way, the battery of an electric toothbrush is charged. Have you ever seen a recent one with a cable or a plug?
Problem: you need to be very close to the transmitter of the electromagnetic wave. Moving away only two centimetres, the intensity goes down 2x2x2=16 times.
The design at this moment would violate so many fcc regulations for you to do this anywhere outside of a laboratory environment. One day if we perfect it we will try to put it up as an instructables or something.
wow...now only if you could increases the range of the magnetic field without causing plane crashes by interfering with the Faraday shield you might get a government grant.
i smoke light bulbs x_x and im not really good with this technology stuff but jesus christ man your a frickin genius!! you could like solve all the global issue shits around the werld and stuff...Yuu shood g00 pR0
@coolblades- can i hv d circuit diag. of drivin(primary) circuit...
thanx

Great work guys ! Cool wireless charger.
Do you have any experience with the Rayleigh Criterion ? Have you uploaded any technical drawings of this model ?

Doesn't look that wireless ;) I pulled this up searching "Resonance charging" but I believe this is radio charging. Great work none the less!

that isn't quite wireless.
good step forward, but the small and large loop
It is generating electricity like a turbine
6/5 for great effort and a knack for sciences

that was a fun four days lol
we blew out one of the transistors too lol
