  • @coolblades- can i hv d circuit diag. of drivin(primary) circuit...

    thanx

  • very nice! id like to know how you got the right voltage and amperage to induct with the magnetic field? what frequency is it resonating at?

  • i here the word "connect" at the end. and i see a complete curcit. wheres the wireless part? i only know what i learned in 4 grade but doesn't wireless mean a seeable break in the connection but still a connection?

  • THATS SOOOOO COOL

  • light off means not charging

  • you are stupid the clamps for the recieving coil are touching the immiter coil gezzzz that is the biggest laod of bs I've ever seen

  • I know how youtube fights get started, so i'm sorry to point out the following: both coils are of the enamel-coated magnetic variety, this cuircut works by an existing principle -iduction coupling, and there is no constant flow of current in the coil of the transmitter. This coil occilates with the help of the capacitor placed in parallel. you would also need a ground and a v+, not a coil, to create a usable charge for the ipod.

  • But still, nice guess cheezex1000. Not everything on teh interwebz is real

  • look again numnuts it's not a guess

  • wish i was that smart

  • Great work guys ! Cool wireless charger.

Do you have any experience with the Rayleigh Criterion ? Have you uploaded any technical drawings of this model ?

  • Doesn't look that wireless ;) I pulled this up searching "Resonance charging" but I believe this is radio charging. Great work none the less!

  • its real the waves are electricity and when it hits the second coil it receivs the waves and sends them to the circut that uses a uniq way chang waves back to electiricity

  • that is going to blow up our how world...i cant imagine how many things we can do with that one...

  • try to make it smaller

  • try to make it smaller

  • it is not wireles

  • Hey cooblades buddy!! we are also workin on this kind of wireless technology.. it would be so kind of u if u could send me more details on ur project of wireless charger and if possible the circuit diag.. thanks in advance..

harryprince88@gmail .. plz do mail me..

  • NICE!

  • actually, i think this is simple. Nikola Tesla thought of the idea and tried it but the reason that it didn't catch on is that the generator went out when he tried it. A million dollars gone to waste, but good job though.

  • nikola tesla is serbian isnt he???

  • That is brilliant!

If you can get it in the ipod, that is.

    Great Stuff

  • whats the resonating frequency?

  • one design was 200kHz on this one its written on the function generator

  • so many wires why not just plug it into the USB

  • obviously he plugs it in.

  • Despite everyone else, I think it is very cool. Being an electronics major myself, I wanted to do this also but you guys beat me to it.

  • that isn't quite wireless.

good step forward, but the small and large loop

It is generating electricity like a turbine

6/5 for great effort and a knack for sciences

  • With no intention to be mean, but you are mistaken. It does not generate electricity in any way, it transmits energy with magnetic resonance coupling. It is very different.

  • exactly it isnt wireless and also it isnt exactly portable its cool for a college science project but it isnt exactly needed expecially since you needed a pc power supply a pc has a pc power supply and it chharges from that too im not trying to insult you its cool and everything it just seems like so much work

  • Its a prototype. Nothing in the first revision is beautiful. Yes technically it uses wires but that is only because we ran out of time. If we had more time and budget we could have made some circuit boards and reduced the set up dramatically.

Unfortunately for us we switched our project at the last minute and had to design and build the entire project in four days and under $10 dollars. (minus cost of iPod and with some salvaging)

Just keep in mind its just not portable......yet......

  • that was a fun four days lol

we blew out one of the transistors too lol

Me: "what's that high frequency noise?"

You: "Not sure. Don't think it's a big deal"

5 secs later - *pop* smoke can be seen on the device ...

  • wouldnt you save yourself a lot of time and power if you just plugged it in to a freaking computer

  • hah, that iPod is oooooold

  • atlest he got 1

  • iPod's suck anyways, I go with the 2nd gen 80 gig Zune

  • zune sukz

  • i'd rather have the 1 usb cable than all them coils and red/yellow cables...

  • For the retards who think this is fake, thnk about an electric toothbrush or a cordless kettle. Water and electricity aren't the best of friends you know, and an open circuit leading to 240volts and 100 amps is very lethal.

Heres an idea, if you dont believe it, cut open your toothbrush charger and have a look, but do it underwater with it plugged into a socket and rid the world of your stupidity and ignorance.

  • Did you guys try in different atmospheric conditions to see how it would affect the charge ?

  • umm wireless??????/ i saw a lot of wires

  • its not all neatly packaged like the stuff you buy in stores...

  • Hehe you got me. This was just a prototype to prove that the theory works. We did plan to make it into a I-pod styled skin, but time and money constrained us.

  • u should do it u will make an ass load of money. i would by one if i looked kool

  • hey dude. im an electrical engineering student and i haven't been able to plan that out can you make a vid. of how you did it?

  • man this thing is expensive in my country :(

  • This thing does really work!

In the same way, the battery of an electric toothbrush is charged. Have you ever seen a recent one with a cable or a plug?

Problem: you need to be very close to the transmitter of the electromagnetic wave. Moving away only two centimetres, the intensity goes down 2x2x2=16 times.

  • sry, i can't calculate... 8 times of course^^

  • have is that nt wireless tho tht so has wires it looks super complicated but its cool

  • i have no idea wat those words mean but that is freaking awesome

  • can u send me the schematics or diagram so i can doit?

  • The design at this moment would violate so many fcc regulations for you to do this anywhere outside of a laboratory environment. One day if we perfect it we will try to put it up as an instructables or something.

  • I sent you a PM

This is very cool. 5 stars.

Have you seen the Nicola Tesla videos? He was able to send power over many mile trough the ground. He took a bulb stuck it in the ground and it lit up

Nikola Tesla: The Missing Secrets ( part of 4 )

  • wow...now only if you could increases the range of the magnetic field without causing plane crashes by interfering with the Faraday shield you might get a government grant.

  • Just use longitudinal magneto-dielectric waves, instead of magnetic induction.

  • and here we have the 2 pounds of weed that is almost gone that we have been smoking for the past week

  • lol i agree... wow im stupid, i accidentally thumbs downed you're reply... woops sorry

  • i smoke light bulbs x_x and im not really good with this technology stuff but jesus christ man your a frickin genius!! you could like solve all the global issue shits around the werld and stuff...Yuu shood g00 pR0

  • thank god for the latest technology, otherwise there would be landfills of dead ipods.

  • hahah good point

  • dum shits thats real, you wont undertsand using a magnetic feild to generate electrisity, and u cud see the charger icon in the corner anyways gees

  • which dork is gonna belive it

at least if your faking it make it souund a little real

anyways there are alot of these videos lately on youtube

know what im gonna make a video and charge mt ipod bt farting

  • i think that you need to shut up and go to hell.

  • Oh yeah, this is completely NOT complicated.

  • lol

  • This is how most re-charagable electronic tootbruthes work like oral b and stuff like that

  • wHy Do YoU tYpE lIkE tHiS?

But other then that I TOTALLY agree.

    WIREPALOOZA!

  • Teach me how to build resonance inductive circuits pleaseeeeeeeee!

  • wireless? there are like twenty wires?

  • lol yeah well

    like 20 wires

WIRELESS !!! LOL:P anyway it rocks

  • What the point all the to charge a ipod. But really cool!

  • nicely done. now if only power co. would do that...

  • wow!
