btw, took my first high school on-road driving lesson on RT 66 near Waynesville MO (Ft. Leonard Wood). many years ago lol !

Thats really great getting to do a trip with your son. I hope I will have the chance to be able to do that with my son. I dont think I will ever be able to do that with my dad his health is getting to bad.

@Jeremybaland It was J! We ride together a lot. Since I'm getting older, I hope my health holds up. We ( son & I ) have talked about doing RT66 sometime. LOL, another bucket list entrant? Thanks for stopping by =)

@Damage2k9 Ha! Ha! It wasn't really grueling, I had a bit of a hangover...from the previous days ride. If anything the hangover was a little bit tender. I used to ride dirt bikes with both my sons, always imagined someday riding the roads with them.

Most HD riders are kind of anal over their chrome. If you have it, it has to shine.

That is cool to have pictures taken like that. I have one with Admiral Mullen somewhere. I don't think he was an Admiral at the time. I wonder if your butt hurts in the same places on cruiser? I couldn't do more than 100 to 120 miles increments. Did you do it the same way?

@Itsreload TYVM Brudda! You need to find that picture and put it in in a video somehow. IMO, folks today ( with a few exceptions ) are proud of our service men & women. Obviously I am, of all of you. Actually, my butt didn't really hurt, I had to pee. That sounded so cheap though. LMAO! I have to stop at about the same (100-120) distances, for gas. Made one trip (16 hours) to Florida, in the rain start to finish. Butt did hurt that time.
