Wrong, Bikes are the same hp stock from the distributor. The same bike will not vary in hp stock going to different countries.

not all dynos are calibrated the same...u can get the same bike dynoed in 10 different places and get readings from 100 to like 115...LOL...some people use crank horsepower instead of wheelhorsepower...i put in a power commander 5, akrapovic slip-on, BMC Race Air Filter, and now i have 115 hp...but i had 107 completly stock...i used the 100.00 from an online article about the 09' R6....but there's no reason why a 2009 R6 is slower than a 2007 R6...so i doubt it's slower bro

i have a thundecat 600 (old R6) and im 98 bhp standard, spent £340 quid so far and im getting 126.4 bhp out of that so you are all doing it wrong! r6 is 112 bhp standard. spend 2-300 on it should get you to 120 bhp no probs! honda are about the same, 1000cc is running 178-185 going on age and running conditions. but if you want look at a GSXR 750 srad with £600 spent and now pushing 1/4 mile in 9 flat and 167.2 bhp and top speed 202mph, oh did i forget to mention i own a rolling road,

Ok, apparently you haven't spent much time in the tuning world. Yes a dyno sheet CAN lie. Most are calibrated pretty close, but not all.

Anyone you talk to who can be realistic about it will tell you 105hp. Exhaust work and power commander, then were looking towards 115-120. Head and motor work, THEN 130's and up.

I have a 2006 Yamaha R6, and it is all modded out. In order to take your bike he would have to race you on a long straight. The R6 is amazing on twisties, but to hang with a 1000 on a straight, your bike would take it after 150 because the R6 dosen't go much faster than that.

Like I said, I have that bike, and I have a full exhaust and power commander. Mine dynoed at about 120. To get 140, he would have to done engine work too.

Dude, I HAVE this bike!!! Show me ONE dyno that is even close to that. A bike looses a few horsepower from the motor to the wheel, it dosen't loose 20! There is NO 600 that has 130 hp from the factory. They usually are around 110 to 120 TOPS!!!!! Even the factory websites don't say they have that much power, and if anyone would try to claim power like that it would definatelly be the factory because they are trying to sell bikes, but they can't stretch it quite that much!

You should invest in a speedo healer to fix your mph reading. Some people dont mind a false reading,but I have enough problems as it is. lol. Especially need to re-calibrate your speedo if you do a sprocket change.Not only will that give a false speed reading but you'll be surprised at how many more miles it will add to your odometer after awhile.Miles you didn't ride.Good to have that reading exact as possible too for many reasons.
