I loved your show n tell n also that you were njoying radishes lol(leaf at end was a florish lol- Hey we had some rains this past spring huh!!(n a strange winter to boot ) Hope you are doing better thru year n the cholest. med effect has exited. Hey have you grown alfalfa and clover sprouts for oxygen munching in my baltimore city apartment :p I really appreciate your walk with us to show & hearing all the insect buddies too!.Take good care =))
@abelyssah Wow. I was in really bad shape when I shot that video. I really don't have many memories of that time. I feel much better now and am ready to get out into my garden and see just how much of my diet can come from my front yard. Funny you mention growing alfalfa sprouts. I was thinking about that yesterday and wanted to look up getting some today but had forgotten to. I think I'll fix that now.
Here in Houston,Texas I have been harvesting tomatoes and some berries for a little while now but your radishes look so good. Sorry to hear about your cholesterol but I will keep you and your family in my Prayers. You are so lucky to have all that rain...lol....could you please send some our way here in Houston?...lol
You can dry the spinach for soups/ lasagna during the winter if you don't want it just going to waste. You grow some BEAUTIFUL radishes, mine always end up going to seed long before they get any real size to them
@knyquol I ran some spinach through the dehydrator last year now that you mention it. Came out quite good as I recall. Thanks for the reminder. Not sure why your radishes would go to seed so quickly. I've always had good luck with mine, or at least the first couple of plantings. Late spring planting doesn't usually work very well.
Your garden is lovely. You are so far ahead! Harvesting already....lucky you. Take care. I don't know thing one about cholesterol but I do know that gardening is good for the body and soul. Enjoy your radishes!

@JaxRL Planting early doesn't always work out, but this year I guess I accidentally hit it just right.
