@casimer Hey sorry if this is a repeat question but where can i find tab for this. Ive got the slap/thump rythym down i just need tabs so i can learn the rest :)....soo keen
@KatherinefortheWIN Hi, that's great that you're learning it. I don't have tabs currently for this one, but I'll put it on the list and get it to you. Cheers
@casimer Without a doubt, one of the best bass grooves I've ever heard. I adore this piece and I'm learning most of it by ear. If you made tabs for it, I'd appreciate a copy. You rock, Casimer, I'm going to check you out on Marlowe's site.

I really found your videos useful, i've always enjoyed slap more than normal bass... I stumbled across your videos and learn't some new tricks to add to my arsenal =) thanks alot, by coincidence i'm about to buy the bass that your using haha
@triffling11pirate do you mean the hammer-ons? I'm hammering-on from F-G on the D string, then C-D and A#-C on the A string. If you listen to the bass solo in 'You can Call me Al' by Paul Simon, the bass player does a cool, similar thing. There's a nice reverse effect on it too. That whole bass line rules.
@casimer My mom would allways have them in the stereo when i was young and that solo was part of the reason i ever even picked up the bass. Can't believe it's just hammer-ons. Thanks alot man, you're great!
@casimer what i can't see is whether you are hammering on off an up-stroke on the thumb or off a pluck. It's easy with the pluck, but I've really been trying to get it with the thumb cause I think that's what you're doing.
Great work! my slapping has improved mightily in the past few months!
that's a valid way of playing if it feels comfortable to you. It can help to sort of springboard your hand off the body when playing certain techniques. I do it when playing a double pop on the D or G string (index then middle finger), but it doesn't feel necessary to do it all the time for me. Each to their own though. Cheers
Since when did Flea start playin Warwick?

Hey, great vid dude.
I need some advice.
When popping the strings, I almost always support my 1st finger with the others by pressing against the bass body.
Does that lead to bad technique/less speed and control?
Should I get rid of it?
I wondered because I can see your hand is almost always hovering above the body.
