I don't think there is a web download, but if you have the program "Steam", you can download it there. Just click on the L4D2 link and you'll see "Free Demo" on the page.

Probably not, they only made this since they got complaints the L4D was a failure. It got old easy.

But isn't L4D2 the same thing?... with more weapons/zombies... it's the same idea... but more variety in the weapons/enemies... and more black ppl.
