Ken tries to get back, then KDJ shines him down. Ken attempts to get back, KDJ tries to shine him again, but misses so Ken grabs the ledge. Then Ken drops off the ledge to shine KDJ, misses and grabs the ledge. KDJ then hits Ken when using the up-b. Ken then does a Bair to hit KDJ away, forcing them both to up-b.

You missed the part where KDJ techs Ken's shine spike. Ken tried to shine him twice. He got him once, but KDJ teched it.

You know someone doesn't have a clue what they're saying when they claim the king of smash's fox would get raped by X player. People don't give Ken the credit he deserves; it's more than likely he'd 4 stock you with every character in the game. Remember he's been playing (a lot) since the original Smash.
