Agreed! I think they are too busy propping the equity markets since the public at large thinks that's THE indicator of the health of the economy. At least that's what CNN/FOX tells them!

The USDX however is used to compare the dollar to a basket of six other currencies: the euro, yen, British pound, Canadian dollar, krona and the Swiss franc.
I hope you don't seriously think there can be any long term resistance even at 72. Once the world dumps the petrodollar it will be worth less than toilet paper. With the 2018 deadline set you can count on it happening before then.

I agree. The dollar is a confidense game. Because of the replacement of the petro dollar, the confidense is basically gone. Only a fool would invest in our paper and we are near fresh out of fools. 2018 may be the deadline, but it sure looks like 2010 will be the actual demise
