Hey any of you guys a Canadian Grenadier Guard?? I left the British 1st Bn The Grenadier Guards last year after serving six years and serving in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. How do you guys work, do you go on opperations?

The Canadian Grenadier Guard Regiment is  a Reserve regiment, not a Regular force so... not many of the Guardsmen would see combat (unless they really.... wanted to)

I am, yes. Our regiment is in the primary reserve. So we go on operation on a volunteer basis. A lot of us have been to Afghanistan at least once for a 6 month tour.

HAHA! That was shitstorm 2k7! Haha i was laughing all the parade including the march off *i'm in the left corner of the guard n.1. haha probably the worst parade off the summer! Damn they haven't filmed the extra drill we got after that! lol

HAHA.. MWO MacKenzie. You should see the satire we made of that one. Atleast Cpt Haladik knew what he was doing. (Let's not mention Fortissimo "Left Turn!..heh ;)

I didn't even notice that until now. I noticed someone go out during the inspection, and I thought it was odd that he returned carrying a sword but I didn't think much of it.
