I can see touching on some of this stuff in college. But what usually happens to most of us because of how intense and how much time it takes to learn this stuff only to forget so much of it come exam time is:
A: We drop out of college
B: Are overall GPA is ruined so forget transferring to a tier 1 university.
C: We change are major.
This is sad because only math teachers need know all this stuff. Sure Engineers and Scientists use it but that's what a computer(s) are for.

Wait a minute. At 12:28, I think he intended his specific function to be f(x) = sin(x), but how does sin(pi) = -1? Shouldn't it be 0?
