I was there =) the show I saw he used 2 fire whips.

LOL They aren't explosions. That's simply the whip cracking in the air. And some of them were quite loud. When I filmed this I was sitting anywhere from 30-50 yards away (depending on where on that grass area he was). The video doesn't do the cracking sounds justice. :( :(

@jerreece it really doesnt, i own several whips and the first time i started cracking i was actually really surprised at how load they were even though i was expecting it to be way louder :P

the cracks are very loud. I was sitting just about 6 feet from the plateau that he stands on and at times he would be right in front of me and my ears would ring. Much like when a blank from a 45 goes off (I am lucky enough to have a job where I can be in a gunfight)
