Am. Bulldog(he's 115lbs) has killed two coyotes on our property. he also killed a 40lb
bobcat(the bobcat actually scratched him up alot worse than anything either coyote did) but he bit into that cat so hard he broke ribs-OUCH !! in areas of known predators it's good to have a dog that can take care of you and itself.

few years ago we got a dog and then the next day its remains were left out in the backyard by a coyote...

Sure that's not a racoon. Coyotes love racoon meat.
